Those numbers are something streaming should be in the UK though... 500k is ridiculously low as here in Finland the biggest songs collect 140k weekly and this is a TINY country

The previous daily record stream total in Ireland was held by One Dance by Drake - he reached 55,497 streams so Ed has doubled the Irish record :lol: Even Adele only reached 54k!

I'd imagine Adele would reach those heights with a lead single now - that's just how far streaming has come.

 

'Shape Of You' is one hell of a pop song, it deserves to take the record.
