Off the top of my head This Morning is usually between 900k-1.1m, Lorraine around 800k-900k and Loose Women around 900k-1m.

Their ratings rarely move outside of those brackets.

Yeah, it's around that sort of area for all three and you're right about them rarely moving outside of those brackets, for obvious reasons really.
Not sure about percentage, but it regularly gets comfortably beaten by the opposite programme on BBC One. This Morning is always 2nd in its slot though.

Series 3 of Still Open All Hours went out on a high - incredible to think it started with a low of 3.16m on Boxing Day! The slot move to 7:30pm, as well as being sandwiched between Countryfile and Call the Midwife really helped it. It had a series average of 5.12m, down on the 6.28m of Series 2 and 6.59m of Series 1. The last three episodes, which all rated above 6m, had an average of 6.42m, however.

Series Averages for Still Open All Hours:

Pilot (2013): 9.43m

Series 1 (2014-15): 6.59m

Series 2 (2015-16): 6.28m

Series 3 (2016-17): 5.12m

Call the Midwife is already over 1m up from the first episode of this series - would be great to see if it could crack 9m.

Apple Tree Yard received its highest rating last night. Will be interesting to see how it will fare tonight - it's been advertised that the last two episodes would be Sunday & Monday and it's replacing Silent Witness, so I wouldn't be surprised if it remained over 5m.

Also, some more data has been added to Thursday and Friday's ratings.

Good final rating for Apple Tree Yard; being out of slot didn't seem to affect it at all! Series average of 5.29m.

Also, the Super Bowl game averaged 624k (19.6%) on BBC 1 on Sunday night from 23:20. Over the pond, the game was watched by 111.3m! :lol:

19:30 Eastenders - 6.38m (32.6%)

20:00 Holby City - 4.54m (21.9%)

21:00 Secret Life of Dogs - 2.13m (10.1%)

I was expecting good ratings for The Moorside as there's been a lot of discussion surrounding it, as well as starring Sheridan Smith, but it's great to see it become a reality. I suspect this could crack 9m for 7-day BARB data and 10m for 28-day.

Do you have any figures for The Accused shown on Channel 5 on Monday night? I found the whole programme very intriguing.

790k (4.1%) excluding +1; 860k (4.5%) including +1.

Notable 28 Day Data Ratings: 02 January - 08 January

Sherlock: 9.53m -> 11.15m (+1.62m)

Death in Paradise: 9.26m -> 9.81m (+550k)

Silent Witness (Tuesday): 8.24m -> 8.93m (+690k)

Silent Witness (Monday): 8.25m -> 8.92m (+670k)

Taboo: 7.00m -> 8.53m (+1.53m)

Endeavour: 6.82m -> 7.56m (+740k)

Unforgotten: 6.37m -> 7.29m (+92k)

The Halcyon: 6.58m -> 7.28m (+70k)

Midsomer Murders: 5.98m -> 6.25m (+27k)

No Offence: 3.36m -> 3.58m (+22k)

Delicious: 1.38m -> 1.77m (+39k)

Sherlock's second episode time-shifting a bigger amount than its first did! That's not the biggest surprise though - I was not expecting another 1.5m to be added to Taboo! That's a 3.74m jump from its overnight.

Hey :)

Wednesday 8th February

BBC 1

19:00 The One Show - 3.78m (19.7%)

19:30 The FA Cup - 3.84m (19.4%)

ITV (inc. +1)

19:00 Emmerdale - 6.39m (33.0%)

19:30 Coronation Street - 7.02m (35.0%)

20:00 Midsomer Summers (Repeat) - 3.16m (16.0%)

BBC 4

21:00 Roots - 1.00m (5.4%)

Roots was advertised on BBC 1 so I suspected it would get good ratings for BBC 4 - I had actually expected slightly more, especially with little competition, but it was nevertheless a success, with ratings double what BBC 4's top shows usually get.

20:30 The Cruise - 3.24m (14.6%)

21:00 Unforgotten - 3.97m (18.0%)

Eastenders' second episode held up well - I guess the last 5 minutes will have been boosted by people tuning in for Death in Paradise (which scores its third highest rating this series).

Unforgotten also received its third highest rating this series with its last episode. A series average of 3.87m is just 200k down on the 4.07m of the first series.

I don't understand the mammoth success of Call the Midwife! I would understand if it was getting ~6-7m but easily getting 10m each week seems bizarre when I've very rarely heard anyone talk about it, and I mean from ALL generations.

Also, I didn't know Winterwatch was a thing, they're really milking that series of progamming by expanding into the other seasons! :lol:

Glad to see Agents of SHIELD still managing to do well for E4!
