ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Guns are the problem. Your question is loaded and irrelevant and Ive discussed at length before (feel free to refresh your poor memory, it wasnt that long ago). Presumably you are very happy to hear that gun sales have plummeted thanks to Donald Trump's Presidency?

Trump meanwhile is sufferin Storm Daniels and could end up in court over trying to hide evidence by paying off during the election.

PS he hasnt tweeted a anything about it because Stormy has offered to return the money to be released from the non-disclosure agreement that was not even signed by Trump but for which she got 130,000 dollars days before the Presidential election.

PPS Can we all claim to have had affairs and get paid 130K? Thought not.

He's toast.

The pornstar who is claiming to have had an affair with Trump has issued a statement which must cast some doubt on her claim. She alleges that, in one of their encounters, he stopped talking about himself.

LOL

Also, worst 'encounter' ever. :P

His mouth was probably full.

I mean burgers of course....

Not seen that interesting article, but I'm aware the 2nd amendment is subject to legal interpretation not NRA interpretation. The militia was supposed to guard against oppressors from abroad or at home trying to deny rights of freedom and equality. Quite arguable that the freedom to not be murdered is a denial of freedom and equality has been lost to the lack of a regulated well-armed militia (as in trained, registered) in favour of mob rule every man for himself, a hangover from Cowboys & indians, & gangster/cop obsessions in the movies and TV

The reasons why are listed in the article...

Which is why I *posted* it. :)

The point being that a high level of gun ownership doesn't necessarily lead to the problems the US has.

Good to see you accept that gun legislation in the USA needs to change.

as long as they follow the same rules and regulations and attitudes - which they don't in the USA and are being forced to accept by people demonstrating. It's even hitting Fox, Breitbart & the NRA who are losing support and advertisers thanks to a bunch of children who survived a gun massacre and their evil, nasty propaganda against those children. The NRA is part-funded by Russia by the way. As is the Republican party indirectly (or directly in the case of many in the government, as we are finding out from all the guilty pleas so far).

I argue there is no need for guns in any culture, except for hunting (hunting rifles). Anything else is pointless unless there is no adequate military protection (which is the case in Switzerland) against outside attack. Guns should be used by professionals not obsessives.

PS shady banking money in Switzerland also does much to hide the wealth of corrupt people who get rich using violence, so they are hardly a model society, all they do is skim off wealth from countries that include those that have gun and corruption problems - just like the UK does with it's offshore banking businesses and "ask no questions" property Monopoly.

You'd think anyone who advertises via them should already know exactly what they are like!

No guns even for the police?

As for hunting, I don't agree with that use, with the sole exception of use for subsistence/protection in wilderness areas.

Advertisers have fluid morality. they go where popular opinion goes.

Police should have limited weapons for special situations by trained professionals - not trigger-happy goons, like many of the fatal shootings by police in the States, nor shitty public executions by British forces using terrorism as an excuse (hello to the family of the killed innocent unarmed Brazilian who have received nothing in compensation and only got a belated grudging "sorry")

I don't agree with hunting either, but at least it's an arguable case. Hunting people isn't.

Ah, but I can now remind him of this, the next time he accuses be of doing that. ;)

I missed that, so thanks for the link, but it's still piss-poor for murdering someone through incompetence - you get more getting sued for libel and it's not anywhere near the amount of money he would have earned over a lifetime.

Outrageously small sum of money.

WE certainly agree on that - should have been double, at very least.

FBI questions an associate of Trump, Farage and Assange as he arrives back from London at Boston Airport - Farage wrote a blurb for his book comapring the EU to the Soviet Block and accused Russian allegations as "Deep State". Presumably the FBI feels they have enough evidence as Just Cause to question him which suggests that Republican Mueller thinks otherwise..

"Malloch has described the EU as having "evil" origins and compared it to the Soviet Union.

A former professor at the University of Reading in the U.K. and the author of several books, he has a book coming out in May called "The Plot to Destroy Trump: How the Deep State Fabricated the Russian Dossier to Subvert the President."

Roger Stone wrote the forward. Infowars host Alex Jones and Brexiteer Nigel Farage have written blurbs for the book cover, according to Malloch's publisher."

Presumably the Evil Origins are Winston Churchill and any mutual democratic attempt to stop those loveable Nazis taking over the world....

Unfortunately we'll never know if Churchill's support for post-war European co-operation, had in mind political/economic union, rather than just trade.

Back on Trump:

Have I told this true little anecdote?

My quizzing friends went to las Vegas during the election campaign and bought me a holiday gift: a Donald Trump pen, selling everywhere to help finance his campaign.

A bit tacky, too thick and a bit unwieldy, couldn't write properly and was useless in a quiz involving general or specialist knowledge. So was his pen.
