It deserved so much more success. A #4 peak and over half a million sales is nothing to sniff at of course, but it certainly should have spent more than 1 week in the Top 10. Meanwhile its peak of #25 in Ireland is offensive. ;o

I've always thought that too. Girls Aloud definitely felt like they continued to grow in popularity and become 'cooler' in the same sense as Little Mix, so it always takes me by surprise to see the album debuted with sales under 50k when the previous two debuted with over 80k and had stronger Christmas sales. The album did have better longevity which is considered better in the long run, but it just deserves more!

I can't believe 'Control Of The Knife' is so low for some of you, for me the runaway best track and missed single.

Interesting thing for me with this album, the singles were not at all the best tracks. I'd have been interested to see how the album would have panned out with the top 3 I chose as the era's 3 singles.
