I have heard "Patience" twice now.

I'm very surprised by it, as I think it is absolutely brilliant & totally unlike anything they have done before.

It is very singer/songwriter-esque & not very pop.

The verse reminds me of Coldplay (Chris Martin) & the chorus reminds me of A-ha (Morten Harket).

I disagree with earlier comments saying that is very Gary Barlow, as it sounds like Mark Owen has had a huge influence on the track, even if it has been only to tell Gary Barlow to listen to the likes of Radiohead & Pink Floyd instead of Diane Warren & Babyface written tracks.

I think this track is pretty decent tbh. I think its a bit of a grower though, I mean at the moment I really like the chrous but i'm not too fussed about the verses.
I think its rubbish, bored me to death!

I really like it, I think it will be a huge hit. Makes me quite nostalgic!

Suggy, listening to any Victoria Wood lately? :P

I watched a show last week and they showed that clip, she's hilarious.

But the fans have waited over 10 years for a Take that comback, not a James Blunt High sounding song. I like the song but they are playing it safe IMHO by releasing what they know is selling atm. -_-

heard it on radio here in ireland today i think its great and should be a big hit for them, who wrote this track was it gary barlow or some of the others?

Am going to be 'patient' and listen to it on the radio tomorrow.

Somehow always sounds different with all the hype from the DJs.

the dj in ireland said he wasnt sure if he liked it or not but has afeeling its a song that grows on you,i think its great myself and worth a listen

I think it's quite nice. But I do think it's very Gary Barlow. In fact, it could be a Take That song from circa 1994.

Nice melodies but I don't think it's anything startling. :( Hopefully it's a 'grower' as I really want to love it.

Will be a mega-hit though. Simply because it's their first single in about 10 years. <_<

On first listen it sounded a little bland, but it's starting to grow on me now.

i think it's take that finally that changed their release date and not westlife finally right?
