I am not so sure about this though i dont live in Australia and never did. Obviously, there are some RW fans who just dont want Take That to look good in someone's eyes and cant cope with the fact Take That were really big and still are. :D This phenomenon Take That's success really annoys a lot of Robbie's fans , lets face it, and i personally know very few of them who are just ok with it. It also caused some friction between legions of TT and Robbie fans.

Now when the boys broke this stereotype -' Robbie's a huge star and the rest are losers' , there would be a lot of TT dissing , i presume.

I don't see how anyone here in denying TT's success in the past or present. Suse pointed out TT have only had one hit in Austrailia. That is not a matter of opinion on TT, it is a fact. Go to http://www.aria.com.au/ and you can see for yourself. Back For Good was the 9th best selling single of 95. None of their other singles were a big success over there for whatever reason. TT are big in Europe and i'm sure once they do their tour they will become even bigger. I personally think TT are the only good boyband there ever was but am very dissapointed with their new album as it is far too samey and full of way too many ballads. I perfer the TT of the 90's, a fun diverce band who made classic pop. I only like 3-4 songs on the new album sadly. -_-

Yes, lets not start BTB V TT. Both were both very succesful. But in total sales there is no comparision mostly due to the BSB success in the US.

yeah i agree with scotty i prefer the 90's take that more

and the same can be said about bsb i dint like this whole pop/rock thing

i wonder why both bands went pop/rock??? and not many old classical pop song they were known for

Oh maybe when robbie left the he took the fun poppy take that out of

of them kinda like when geri left the spice girls and they delivered the album forever

:P lol just kidding but........

Probebly cause the singer/songwriter type of music is what sells hugely these days and they have matured and want the music to be more serious perhaps. I wish they could've done some upbeat classic pop though, the album is more like a Gary solo album than their previous material was but as it has become so succesful it's obviously what is popular.

TAKE THAT AND THE BEATLES CONTINUE TO RULE EURO CHARTS

Reformed boy band TAKE THAT continue to dominate the European singles chart with their comeback release PATIENCE, keeping NELLY FURTADO at bay. Furtado's ALL GOOD THINGS is at number two, while AKON FEAT EMINEM's SMACK THAT is at number three. At number four is FATAL BAZZOKA with FOUS TA CAGOULE, and MY LOVE by JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE FEAT TI is at number five. Meanwhile, THE BEATLES' LOVE remains at the top of the European albums chart. U2 compilation U218 SINGLES is at number two, while at number three is IL DIVO's SIEMPRE. Take That's BEAUTIFUL WORLD is at number four, and Nelly Furtado is at number five with LOOSE.

yeah take that are lucky that they aren't called

"wannabe rockers" & "posers" like bsb when they went pop/rock

oh well i hope take that they tour in europe and perfrom mostly old material :)

I kinda feel worried for 5ives comeback in a couple of months cause

they;ll be heavily compared to take thats comeback

on how well the comeback single is doing or floppin and the same with the comeback album.

Back For Good is the best take that song ever

Never Foget the the ultimate TT song IMO :P

But Back for Good is their biggest. ^_^

Oops I didn't mean to start a BSB vs TT battle...lol.I was just pointing out that TT just didn't have that hype here at the time and I have to wonder if they weren't that big then, maybe there won't be a huge interest in the comeback album either...but with lots of promo I may be wrong.

I would never begrudge any success TT have, but I am the first to admit that I would have dearly loved Rudebox to have at least equalled the success of Beautiful World  .

Well, i am a HUGE fan of 90-s as well. I just love euro dance music and love the old Take That sound. But these days it would sound too dated, if they ever released an album like this, and i doubt it could be that successful to be honest. Unfortunately, we cant turn back the time. Take that have always been a flexible band , they are able to produce different styles of music relate to different people with their defferent tastes. This is a rare ability for a band and even more rare for a boyband. :D I am not disappointed with the new album at all, it has some really great tracks on. I remember Gary said some time ago that a couple of tracks from this release could do even better than Back For Good  I wonder which ones he meant?

locot

I like TT but I am a Robbie fan, and I wish TT success and collectively they are a great band, but not one of them would or could make it as a solo act, well not yet they haven't.

Please do not take this the wrong way but as already mentioned about BSB v TT..please do not turn this into a RW v TT fans as well.

I became a Robbie fan after TT, I didn't follow TT until I had noticed the solo Robbie so its not fair to keep commenting on how much RW fans don't like TT success. Robbie has huge success too and the only thing spoiling my enjoyment of TT revival are comments like that.

I love BW. I waited 10 years , no 11 infact, for a new album by TT and i got not disappointed.. I think Reach out is their best song ever.. they really need to release it and it will become their biggest single ever..

but my alltime favourit TT song still is Never Forget... that song just is history and probably the best pop song by a boy band ever...

For me TT are not a boyband anymore... cause first they now are in their middel and late 30's-- and they all play instruments and write their music on their own.. I mean who else does that.. TT especially gary wrote their first songs all on their own.. TT obviously is a BAND.. or developed into that..

did you see the manchester live concert dvd? i mean that was just entertaining.. it had class.

I'm also a hardcore RW Fan i love his music, his character/behaviour and i could not understand why any RW fans should be angry or jealous that BW sold more than rudebox this time.. For me RW was and wqill be a part of TT and he also developed to be the biggest and greatest solo entertainer/singer of the decade..

TT are great Robbie is great so what do u want more..?

I don't like Beautiful World. I tried. I really did. But I don't. :(
I've not heard the album apart from the song patience which has grown a little on me ^_^
