westlife???

Yes, they are #99, they deserve some recognition for their overwhelming success surely?

What about the Osmonds? Would they count as a Boy Band?

What is a 'boyband' anyway? Would the Beatles count? :P

The Beatles played there own instuments and were a proper band, certainly not a boyband.

So in a 'boyband' nobody plays instruments then? That would rule out TT. What with Gary and his organ. <_<

No, boybands are generally a manafactured bunch of guys who do silly dance moved or sit on stools (westlife  ). TT are'nt really a boyband anymore though, more like a manband :P

That could be the Osmonds then. I liked them. ^_^

Crrrrrrazzzzzzy Horrrrrrrsssssessssssss.....

yeah right the hansons were a band..
The reason why Beautiful World is in a top 10 in Europe is becouse it sells everywhere really. I mean in every country. They might not be on the high positions , but still they do have a dedicated fans just everywhere.
I haven't really been following this album. How many countries did it go number 1 in and how long was it number 1 in Europe for? Anyone know when the Aussie release date is? Sorry I am a bit behind  .
I am not sure about OZ, but they are doing Asia next..and then, probably Canada and America.
if the album goes top 100 in usa i would be very surprised.. i mean back for good was a hit there 11 years ago, i don't think america knows them anymore.. hopefully they chart there.

They have sold over 300,000 copies of the album outside the UK within the 8 weeks of release so I can see why they are top 10 for the Europeans charts. However, the European album chart is based on points apperently, I recall finding this out when Robbie's Rudebox in it's 4th week was #1, but some Spanish singer had infact sold much more in that particular week but because he only did well in Spain he did'nt get enough points.

Seems a bit silly if you ask me. <_<
