Take That To Embark On World Tour

December 18, 2006 6:43 a.m. EST

Maira Oliveira - All Headline News Reporter

London, England (AHN) - Take That are ready to take on the world by storm as if they never said goodbye in the first place.

Ten years after they split, British pop sensation Take That have announced plans for a world tour. The reunited 90s boy band are currently on the top of the British music charts with their hit singles "Beautiful World" and "Patience."

ContactMusic.com reports that lead singer, Gary Barlow, and the rest of the band have been overwhelmed by the praise they've received with their comeback. Their sold-out reunion tour in the U.K. has encouraged them to take on the rest of the world.

Gary said, "We want to do a big tour of Europe and all the places where we were big first time around. I just love being on tour - I love being on the road and performing, it doesn't feel like work to me."

He added, "We've been having such a good time this year that we all feel we'd like to do another tour."

Band members Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen will have concert dates in Europe, Asia and Australia. Their world tour will commence in 2007. However, original band member Robbie Williams won't be joining them on stage.

That would be :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

I also thought that GB on Saturday night was very cheesy with Leona & could hardly bear to watch ( he looked like her father ) - he just left the other three guys more or less looking on - . If she wants to further her career - stay away from him . I cant even bear to think about it.
Oh by the way - why would Robbie Williams want to tour again with Take That - he left them 10 years ago & I think he has definately has moved on - Its a pity the media cant move on as well.

Everything was going so well on Saturday night until he started singing with her - what was Simon Cowell thinking of.

I just found on UKMIX, TT's album certificates for the UK ^_^

Take That & Party: 600,000 (2 plat)

Everything Changes: 1.2 million (4 plat)

Greatest hits: 900,000 (3 plat)

I read in The Sun today that Gary Barlow's waxwork in Madame Tussauds has been taken out of the broom cupboard and put back on display.

Ronan in Boyzone comeback

Thursday, December 21, 2006

Despite his successful solo career, Ronan Keating, has agreed to team up with his former band mates which means the group can go one better than Take That who were forced to go on tour without Robbie Williams.

An insider said: “It's a massive coup to get all five members signed up, Ronan has been the one that's bee reluctant to agree all along.

He has a very successful solo career, but thankfully he's finally realised the success the band could have again and he's given in to the fans.â€

It was Keating's decision to leave the band in 1999 that led to its demise and since then the former band members Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch have struggled to regain their previous levels of success.

The band is planning to do a tour featuring their greatest hits. “After the tour Boyzone will judge the reaction and decide if they want to keep going together and release an album of new stuff,†said the source.
