Well when Rob was in TT, he was just like Mark, Jason and Howard - in Gary's shadow, and it seems to me that Mark, Jason and Howard are still in that position. The album sounds most like a Gary solo album than it does of that of a band imo :(

I think they could Dino. :)

I would like to thank them for Beautiful World, which I got for Christmas, I love 4 tracks in particular, I can't remember the titles as its in my car..the listing is 1, 2, 7 and Jason's last song. Very good.

The rest so far is merging into one...of course with repeated listens that may change, so I decided yesterday to put back Rudebox, and blow we what a blast that was.

I can now say I think RUDEBOX is terrific, well done Robbie what a breath of fresh air that re-listen was. You really do not know how good something really is until you take it away.

Scotty I have been converted. RUDEBOX album is ace...and so is Robbie and its all thanks to TT lol.

well maybe but they will have to start from scratch again and move their way back on top

because most of the places in europe they used to be big at

they;re not selling that well like in sweden their album peaked at no.40

and then dropped "Patience" did well but still.

the only huge comeback succes is in the uk and no where else.

I heard that too Dino. Some countries are not taking them to their hearts like the UK. Germany will though. I do like Take That, the album is not that great for me. I always have liked albums and artists with a bit of edge about them.

I can understand the Robbie v TT thing but really it should be TT v Westlife thing and one thing I will say they beat Westlife handsdown. Which I am very pleased about, Westlife are one of the laziest manband or boyband around. They just pick flipping covers all the time and I just cannot understand the public accepting it.

At least TT write their own material.

I think ten touring in teh UK before any new releases really helped. If they tour in Euroipe in 2007 they could do very well again .

yeah but selling out big arena in europe i kinda doubt it

maybe playing smaller venues is a good start in europe

but i do know in germany people are still crazy over them.

im not a fan of westlife but they've sold millions of album in europe

and take that has unfortunately only had 2 million selling album

excluding the 2 greatest hits. while westlife hve had lots

I'm not sure about this one tbh. I was actually wondering whether the TT revival is going to be a flash in the pan UK only phenomenon (based on a lot of hype) or whether it is based on something a lot more substantial and they'll be massive in Europe again.

I think it could go either way. But I don't think their next single is particularly strong....

Actually, Westlife only has some succes in Europe at the begining of their carear. Their latest album has sold hardly anything outside the UK/Ireland. They have sold only 10 million in Europe, including 8+ million in the UK, so only less than 2 million outside the UK with 8 albums.

TT only has 3 studio albums and one GH, before last year and they sold over 4 million albums outside the UK in Europe so have had alot more succes despite only having half the amount of albums. ^_^

I like 'Shine', and it would give the impression the album is varied but it is not. After 'Shine' then I really don't know what they will release cause the rest of the songs are mostly ballads, apart from 'Reach Out', however, I think 'Reach Out' is meh <_< It's a nice enough song but not strong enough to be a single imo. But I suppose the album has sold way more than expected so It really does'snt matter.

hmm take that will compete with another boyband that is coming out with a new album in 2007, i bet they're will be alot of comparisons which i hate especially when this boyband comes to the uk to promote their new single and album critics will probably say they are jumping

on the take that reunion bandwagon which they arent.

Over 12 million albums and about 10.5 million singles. So nearly 25 million records. ^_^
