2 New kids on the block 70 million

3 Westlife 40 million

4 N sync 39,5 million

5 Take that 25 million :cheer:

6 Five 20 million :)

7 Boyzone/98 degrees 10 million each

8 Blue 7 million

9 O-town 5,5 million

10 LFO 2,5 million

well...They are better than all of those other boy bands... ^_^

Though I like Blue too...

from music Week report (thanks to Mikey :) )

Surging to the highest weekly sale since Coldplay’s X&Y sold 464,471 copies on its debut in June 2005 and their own personal best of 443,070 in the week ending December 23, Take That’s Beautiful World sold a less stellar but still significant 104,302 copies last week to take its 34 day cume to 1,144,521. The album is number one for the fifth week in a row, and reached its millionth sale on its 27th day on release - 10 days more than the all-time record of 17 days set by Oasis’ Be Here Now in 1997, and a day slower than previous record holders Robson & Jerome’s self-titled 1995 debut and The Beatles’ 1 in 2000.

Beautiful World also beats Take That’s previous best number one tally of four weeks for 1996’s Greatest Hits, and is the longest serving number one by any act since James Blunt’s Back To Bedlam completed an eight week stint in pole position in September 2005.

wo thats cool i guees??

That's weird, imo. I mean they are boy band.

well they're more like a man band now

Yes, that's true.

Dino, all sales you posted here are made up!!!

Westlife sold 40 mil??? LMAO. The band who has only regional succsess could'nt sell this much. About 15 mil worldwide, i'd say.

Five 's sales are also seem weird.. They sold max- 15 mil worldwide, not 20 definitely.

Someone mentioned TT sold only 600k of the Nobody Else album in the Uk.. hello, it has Back For Good and Never Forget on, it was sold a lot more than just 600k.

Take That sold 25 mil world wide first time around, in 10 years they have sold at least a couple of more mil, so to this day they've must sold + 30 mil world wide !

Are those figures combined album and singles sales?

600K is accoring to the official BIP site. It may have sold near 900k, but not over or it would've been certified 3 platinum not only 2.

According to the British Hit singles and albums book 2004, they had sold 9 million album and 10 million singles throughout their carear. Obviously with their recent GH selling nearly a million and the new album now over 1 million in the UK along, then album sales would be over 12 million.
