Lady Gaga and producer/director Brett Ratner are cooking up... something. The pair have teased a collaboration called "The Love Project" that they plan to reveal on Sunday night (Feb. 26) during the Academy Awards. The first hint of their collab came on Tuesday (Feb. 21), when Ratner posted a pair of pictures from the set of their meet-up.

Ratner -- known for directing blockbuster films like Rush Hour and X-Men: The Last Stand -- explained to EW in a statement, "It was fantastic to work with Lady Gaga and Revlon on The Love Project, and to spread the message of love, acceptance and positivity at a time when it is so greatly needed."

Gaga upped the ante on Thursday (Feb. 22) with a short video bearing the title "For a Million Reasons We Need Love Now," along with a message name-dropping her charitable Born This Way foundation. "I'm so proud @BTWFoundation and I are partnering with #theloveproject2017. Show us your #lovein3words."

The video, cued to Gaga's latest hit single, "Million Reasons," delivers a montage of people -- mothers and babies, families, couples -- showing their love, and encouraging people to share their stories. A spokesperson for Gaga did not return requests for comment at press time.

Gaga co-founded the non-profit Born This Way Foundation in 2011 along with her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, with a stated mission of "empowering youth" and "inspiring bravery" by sharing resources on mental wellness, kindness and creating a positive climate in schools.

Premiering during the OSCARS!
