She said yesterday ‘full album hopefully next year’.

Apparently she has written 300 songs in the last 5 years.....

If she's written 300 songs, then she must have some shockers if Glorious is considered the best to be a comeback after x amount of years

That did pass my mind...

But tbf she did write This Is Real as well and that’s a strong song.

I think Glorious was really important to her as a message, and that seems to have over-ridden any common sense re its musicality and suitability for radio play or as an impactful comeback.

The EP needs to show a lot more.

With This is Real showing all the signs of becoming a hit it is very important that Ella starts releasing the strongest material she has.

Releasing weak material from the EP will kill any of her comeback headway off.

I actually like most of Young, not that it’s a hit single.

The kids voice is creepy though. Wouldn’t want to hear that many time lolz.

I like it but anyone else hearing "Sunflowers"?!

Ella pushing Young and the EP again today, with an acoustic version of Young going on YouTube.

Sensible pushing hard giving the success of This is Real. But as someone said is this material good enough??

Young is decent I think, better than Glorious.

Apparently the next EP track ‘Friends’ is supposed to be more upbeat so fingers crossed for that!

Ps. Is it worth renaming this thread ‘Ella Henderson - Glorious EP’ ??

Added "Glorious" and "Young" to one of my playlists last week so have heard them a few times this week.

"Glorious" sounds like her take on Julia Michaels "Issues" and "Young" sounds like a Bebe Rexha take on "Sunflower" by Post Malone & Swae Lee

"Glorious" is my preference of the two! Love her vocal, she just has some class that makes her stand out from others in pop.

Ella’s Glorious EP out this Friday.

2 new tracks - Friends and Hold On Me.

Here’s a clip of Friends....@1190599257998401536

Certainly nothing seems very commercial on this EP.

She needs to decide if she wants to go mainstream pop, or be a niche RnBish album artist doing smaller gigs.

Good to see her having 2 tracks in the top 50 mids this week but with her sound very different to these tracks its hard to know how its going to work for her.

EP gone #16 Australian iTunes...

Decent! Surprised they remember her tbh!

I'm really enjoying Friends, it is my favourite of her new tracks.
Friends is a nice song! Feels like there’s a rudimental influence (these days) wonder if they were part of the production team?
