Actually a really strong follow up album for Ella, but do agree it could have been a few tracks less maybe a deluxe edition should have been 16 tracks long. Hope she manages to go at least top 5.

Prices reduced to £5.99 on Amazon

I’m assuming it’s not selling great so it’s an attempt to make it at least top 10 by the end of the week?

I'm listening to this album now, and my God it is so boring it's unreal. :(

Sorry Ella

I'm glad someone's actually saying it like it is! Aside from LGHT, Brave and Ugly there's literally nothing else to get excited about.

On the contrary, I really love it and think it's a fun pop album - a little dated maybe and some filler but what is good is really good!

I think with the album ella is still playing with her sound and isnt fully sure where her home is yet but she is getting there. Part of me is still in disbelief we finally got the 2nd album.

I am excited and nervous for the midweek for her today.

This album has 13 producers on it!

She has moved from MOR pop, RnB, Soul in Chapter One to MOR pop, dance, country on this album, with some gospel round the edges! The country oriented stuff was a surprise but I kinda like it.

I’m not sure where she’s heading but I think the scattergun approach is a problem. I personally think Chapter One was a better fit, but see what happens.

Has this album helped solidify her career?

Albums that are contending for #1 get reduced all the time so I wouldn't read much into that.

No 7 in the mids and over 3k sales, i hope she can hang on and stay top 10, i had hoped she might be top 5 in the mids but she is a good but behind, hopefully the signings sway it for her.
The album has more positive reviews on here then negative! 😍

The album is strong as a whole but it definitely lacks the major highs her debut had. I don’t think the album has any real duds it is probably a tad too long (maybe like 12-13 tracks could’ve worked out more concise) but there’s no like wow moment on here and the production was better on her debut too.

Ella’s such a good vocalist though I’ve longed for this second album for a long while so it’s nice to see that it’s finally been released. Anyone who’s expecting dance feature Ella may be surprised at the sound of this as a whole it is more reminiscent in sound to Chapter One but the production could’ve been stronger.

Definitely agree on the comment earlier what hints she’s playing with sound and hasn’t found her sound yet though. Despite not releasing an album since 2014 Ella’s released some material and had success a large part of that success being with dance orientated music yet that sound hasn’t made it onto the album. But yeah I’m just glad that she eventually got that second album out I just hope album 3 doesn’t come in 2030

Tbh, the best song she has released in YEARS (Dream On Me) not being on the album and being her lowest charting single ever is an injustice.
I know Ella didn’t have any big hits with the songs left off this, but I’m surprised Take Care Of You or This Is Real hasn’t been added to the streaming version to help with its sales.
