It is a normal series too, with feeds, HOH comps and normal game, I thought it might be like our CBB and be shorter plus follow the UK public vote format.

I think having feeds diminishes the talent they could get.. but happy none-the-less.

Hoping for some good names - I know Neil Patrick Harris is a big fan of the show, but, I think he's too big of a name.

I can imagine it will mostly be like Youtubers and reality stars, maybe a couple of actors from CBS shows (idk what shows are on CBS other than BB lol), people on that sort of level, but on UK CBB US reality stars are often some of the best HMs they could get, for better or for worse (Speidi, Tiffany and Renee especially).

 

I feel like they won't resist putting in an ex housemate as a "celeb" though knowing CBS :lol:

The only ex-housemate that I would define as a Celebrity is Frankie, unfortunately.

You could throw Jessie in there because he's had a successful Wrestling career... going further down the list would be Caleb as he's done Survivor twice now. But the last two they could easily just save for an All-Stars. They're not true Celebrities.

I can't believe it's took them 17/18 years to actually do it though! I'm hearing that it's just a one-off to celebrate 20 series but I'm guessing if it's successful it would be a no-brainer to do it again. It would be nice to see some names I actually recognise in there but it doesn't matter too much. I actually do wonder if they'll try and get Speidi in there although they would have to play separately! Kathy Griffin might be another name, after being rumoured a lot for CBB UK and her often appearing to host comps on BBUS, her recent controversy might overshadow that though.

As for this actual season, it was nice to see a proper blindside for a change! My hopes for a shock Paul eviction were dashed as soon as Alex won HoH, I'd hoped Josh winning veto might have convinced him to talk to Alex about Paul but we don't know the conversations that happened and I'm sure Paul wouldn't have left them alone together. Plus, Alex only has Paul there now and Josh using the veto would have risked Christmas going up/leaving. Alex too blinded by her hate for Kevin though that she didn't take aim at the two people who got Jason out and are her only real competitors outside of Paul though, wow great player. At least with Raven gone, we won't get a sympathy winner, I can't believe she said it was a good move to evict her because people would choose her to win because of her situation...

 

Also, Julie dragging Raven in her interview like she did with Matt!! And Raven saying she played a good game by throwing the game to Paul. :lol: :lol:

I guess Raven playing up her lies for sympathy was a game, just not a good one by any means :lol: Second double eviction of this season where someone who was precisely 0 threat to the game was evicted instead of a supposedly good player doing the right thingand getting out her competition... Alex really deserves what's coming to her, to be dropped by Paul.

It depends if they use the UK definition of "celebrities" :lol: I think it could be one of two ways. BB still gets great ratings so they could get actual big names but with feeds the actual big names might not want to do it being under fan scrutiny 24/7. I guess there are a lot of superfans who are still solid names who may do it regardless.

 

I wouldn't be surprised at Kathy Griffin actually but with the decapitated Trump thing it might be too controversial :lol: Then again BBUS is a lot more lenient with controversy than us.

Too bad Josh had such a shitty first few weeks and tanked his game, he would have been a great winner if he was the one that took out Paul.

That Revengers stuff was horrible. But at least they were able to get Jessie and Dan to participate. I think Dan is thirsty for another shot.
