I've had a feeling all season that a mid to uptempo female commercial pop song will win this year, Jessica, Saara or Eleni seem the most likely to give us that (and Asmik if she can win in Armenia).

Well if there's one thing we're overdue it's a winner that's beyond the stars. 1944 was decent-ish but last year's winner was literally like taking Xanax.
I disagree, I think every winner this decade has its own unique charm and was the best or one of the best entries that year. Azerbaijan the weakest, but 2011 was also the weakest year.

In the summer of 2014 (less than 4 years ago), today's current top 5 in the odds had a Eurovision record as follows:

1. Israel

Had failed to qualify for the past four years in a row

2. Bulgaria

Did not participate in 2014 after withdrawing following 6 consecutive non-qualifications

3. Czech Republic

Had not participated since 2009 following three non-qualifications out of a possible three

4. Estonia

Decent record in context, finally recovering after 6 non-qualifications out of 7 between 2003 and 2010 but still only 2 top 10 finishes since Sahlene in 2002

5. Australia

Not eligible to take part in Eurovision

ANY COUNTRY CAN GET HYPE WITH THE RIGHT SONG

Do we know when the CD will be out? I wanna judge the sangs but am too lazy to youtube them all
ANY COUNTRY CAN GET HYPE WITH THE RIGHT SONG

EXACTLY

It's so annoying to STILL see the 'political farce' sort of comments thrown around. Because we all voted for Portugal, Bulgaria and Moldova last year for political reasons right?

ridiculous queueing system strikes again. for some reason my phones' queues didn't activate at the same time as my laptops and the highest one I got was 50188 so hopeless :/

oh well hopefully i get me some tickets in Portugal before the actual thing.

The compilation album was released digitally today, the physical CD will be available from the 20th April!
I think Serbia is missing from the album on Spotify
I can only find the karaoke album on Spotify  A bit lax to spend £12.99 on the download though when I know I'll get the CD in two weeks.
OGAE voting have started and Israel have already recived 5/5 twelves

The official soundtrack of Eurovision 2018

So who is going to Lisbon after all?

you can see stills from some of the postcard shoots in this video:

Has anyone bought the CD yet, it's out today. Apparently the Australian print run of the album has all karaoke versions on CD2 :/

If this is the case for the UK version I'd rather hold off buying until it's rectified.
