October 14, 200618 yr I'm not sure I understand this. So Mariah was the 77th best-selling singles artist of 1990?
October 14, 200618 yr Yes Tim - It's all on UKMIX. No sales for 1990-1992 though :( Only Wet Wet Wet sold more singles than her in 1994 too. How SEXY. Edited October 14, 200618 yr by Graham
October 15, 200618 yr That'd be great. Celine & Whitney are already there  You can also tell how bad sales have got when she sold less in 2005 than she did in other years but ended up higher.
October 15, 200618 yr Author Such a great comeback though. She'd been absent from that list for so long. I know! 4 years :o! I hope her next album is succesful as Mimi - I doubt it though :(
October 16, 200618 yr I know! 4 years :o! I hope her next album is succesful as Mimi - I doubt it though :( It's far too early to tell. The thing hasn't even been recorded yet.
October 22, 200618 yr I hope that she is taking her time on the next album. Some albums can be too quickly produced. This is mainly in the case of lead singers of pop groups who wish to go solo because if they leave it too long the public will forget who they are. -_-
October 22, 200618 yr im not sure if i understand it, but it looks good You're not alone there. :arrr:
October 23, 200618 yr im not sure if i understand it, but it looks good You're not alone there. :arrr: It's like a chart of the year for each year based on an artist's total sales on the UK singles chart and on the albums chart. So Mariah was the 77th best-selling singles artist of 1990 and the second best-selling singles artist of 1994 with over 1.3 million singles sold that year. Hence: 1990 - 77. Mariah Carey 1994 - 2. Mariah Carey - 1,349,700 Edited October 23, 200618 yr by Tim
October 23, 200618 yr Author Well explained Tim, it also shows the major drop in single sales from the 1990s to now :o
