That was Australia, it was huge there and it's 2x Platinum. I think in NZ Be The One only got to something like #20.
This has a new US peak of #67, her highest peaking single yet. Disappointed it's not higher but hoping it takes off properly soon.
I can't remember the last time I've seen a song so universally liked, a lot of my friends who generally don't even like pop music like this. It's quite remarkable.

It's radio in the US is still quite steady, it's #33 on pop and up to 54 on iTunes there. 27 on Spotify too. American radio takes sooooo long though.

Yes, New Rules will be a smash by like... november/december haha A mess! But she deserves it so I'm glad it seems to be taking off on iTunes and radio now too. For a while I thought this would only be a streaming hit

Be The One was a hit in NZ but not as successful in Australia since Liam mentioned it only reached #20 and a gold certification.

 

Speaking of which New Rules already reach #6 the same peak for Be The One as her highest peak singles in Australia.

 

Sadly I think it will stalled at #2 for both countries because LWYMMD still did pretty well on iTunes and Spotify there despite the gaps on Spotify generally getting closer.
