Before starting the seventh concert, of the eight which has agreed to make in the Palace of Deportes of Mexico, the Colombian singer Shakira received the surprise visit of his countryman the winner of the Nobel prize of Literature, Gabriel Garcia Márquez.

 

The local mass media caught with their cameras the moment at which the Colombian writer left the dressing room of Shakira that maintained a long conversation previous to the concert that forms part of the tour “Oral Fixationâ€.

 

Is not the first time that Márquez shows his interest for music and the dance, since some months ago also was caught dancing to the rate of Celso Piña.

The author of the book “100 years of solitudeâ€, danced to the compass of Shakira with songs that form part of her recording like “Suerteâ€, “Inevitableâ€, “Estoy aquí†and “Te dejo Madridâ€.

Under an incessant rain and more than 50 thousand people concentrated in the estadio Universitario in Monterrey, the Colombian singer Shakira last night appeared in this city like part of his tour “Oral Fixationâ€.

 

The first chords of "Estoy Aquí", were enough for the assistants to forget the delay whereupon the South American singer initiated her spectacle, in which interpreted the greatest hits of her career.

 

The rain that was lowered on the city by near six hours, stopped just at the moment at which Shakira initiated her spectacle with which captivated to the assistants with her movements of hip and put them to dance in more than one occasion.

 

By some moments, the public thought that the concert would be suspended since rain seemed not stop,

whereas the organizers announced by the loudspeaker that had to wait some minutes to initiate the concert because great part of the assistants not yet managed to enter the stage by the inclemency

of the time.

 

Covered with raincoats and all type of article that protected them of the water, some people supported a long delay, being there since 18:00 hours in which they opened the doors and it was not until the 22:00 in which the lights of the scene ignited to see Shakira.

 

After remembering that "Estoy Aquí" was one of the first songs that she wrote, the Colombian wearing black trousers and a blouse silverplated, apologized argumenting that her delay was for cause of the nature.

Shakira expressed with which gained her followers soon to grant them one more of his successes, and remember her first infantile love with a boy of name Jose , when she was four years old and he five.

 

"Antologías", caused a great choir of voices that flooded the stage follow with the romantic moment when interpreting the “Inevitable†success, and following with "Si te vas".

 

In a while, she announced that the moment had arrived “for moving the skeleton†and in company of her musician André Meléndez put to dance to the assistants under the tune of "La Tortura".

 

With a red dress of ample sleeves, the Colombian interpreter astonished with her rhythmic movements, becoming involved in the ample sleeves and dancing to "Veneno" tune, while simulated to become a rose and a butterfly.

 

With a simple stage scene, consisting of a giant screen where diverse images of electrical guitars projected, butterflies or jellyfish, Shakira interacted with the public, which saluted closely while singing "Suerte".

 

 

Later, the artist transformed into a odalisca with her clothes of purple and lila color, and the gathered hair to initiate the movement of hips that managed to catch the public who continued singing her songs.

 

Although the last song was "Loca ciega, sordomuda" the people requested that returned, reason why after minutes, Shakira returned singing "Ojos así" and closed finally with her more recent success "Hips don"t lie" accompanied of thousand of voices.
