Pleased that Bunting won a couple of legs (at least) against MvG.

His performance - scoring-wise anyway - didn't deserved a whitewash.

This Rob Cross fella looks like a talent, beating veteran Ian White. About time we saw some new faces in the latter stages of majors!

Quarter-Final Line-Up

Michael van Gerwen v Phil Taylor

Adrian Lewis v Alan Norris

Daryl Gurney v Mensur Suljovic

Peter Wright v Darren Webster

I think MvG, Adrian Lewis, Suljovic (just) and Snakebite will all progress.

As much as I'm an MVG fan I would love Taylor to win this one last time, for sure the winner will come from that game for me unless Snakebite doesn't completely choke like he did in the last final against Van Gerwen...

Alan Norris creeping up on the outside as a dark horse!

Phil Taylor at the moment, 8-2 up against MvG. MvG could come back and won possibly 16-13. We'll shall see.

I can't remember ever seeing MVG play so poorly & miss so many doubles! Think he let the crowd get to him which is very out of character. An incredible scoreline really, go on The Power, win it now!
The Power really looks back to his unbeatable best this tournament. Always loved the Matchplay, special night for him tomorrow for what will hopefully be win number 99!

And it is the fairytale ending for the GOAT of Darts! First Federer at Wimbledon, now tonight :cheer: you can never keep a great sportsman down.

Surely only a matter of time before Snakebite wins a major, played well this tournament again but no answers against The Power.

Love him or loath him... this week has been pretty special from Phil Taylor.

One of the best wins of his career.
