Welcome to a weekly feature that will be hosted by the JB Forum mods. Every week we'll select a song from Justin's back catalogue and put it under the lens to hear your thoughts about it. We will try to vary it up with singles, album tracks, b-sides, demos, features to get a nice selection as the weeks progress.

First up, and i'm choosing my favourite album track from Justin! Taken from his 'Believe' album, the song takes a dark brooding turn. It's about the dangers of being in the spotlight both in terms of a relationship but also the media. Bieber openly explores the difficulty in maintaining a relationship with someone when he is constantly under scrutiny from the media and his life can never be private. It's a powerful song, with an important message but most of all it's a dark-pop BOP.

What do you think of the song?

1. She Don't Like The Lights

2. Turn To You

3. Love Me

4. Children

5. Take You

6. Born To Be Somebody

I think it's a shame this was only a deluxe track, it's probably one of the deeper songs on the Believe album (alongside Maria) and he pulls it off so well. It's a catchy pop song on the surface but with deeper lyrics. Lots of love
Omg banger, I totally forgot about it!

A week later...*DJ Khaled voice* ANOTHER ONE!

Next is probably my personal favourite Justin song. I actually bought the Believe CD from South Korea just because they offered the CD single of this with it and I needed it so badly  Released in May 2012 during the Believe era, 'Turn To You (Mother's Day Dedication)' was written by Justin in tribute to his beautiful mother Pattie Mallette. The lyrics are incredibly cute and Justin's vocal are incredible, particularly during the second half of the song. I have a feeling people will either have not heard this at all or not listened in a VERY long time, so I hope you guys enjoy

This is a really lovely song  I enjoyed it anyway at the time, it made #1 in my personal chart (while songs like Beauty and a Beat and Love Yourself never did...!), and has always been a special song, even more so when you consider the relationship between him and his mum.

I don't actually know this well at all. But listening now it's a nice listen. Deeply personal obviously and shows how strongly he feels and respects her. Thanks for the discovery <3

For week 3 I'm taking us all the way back to My World, and a promotional single released for the album. Love Me never got the full single treatment, but it did get a (basic) music video. The song samples The Cardigans' Lovefool in the chorus, but puts a new spin on it, updating the lyrics for Justin's target audience.

Early Justin may be less popular on here but this is the song that made me a Belieber, and it remains my second favourite song of his to date, just behind As Long As You Love Me!

I really love this one, its probably my favourite from My World. The chorus is incredibly catchy. Watching Never Say Never always gets me hyped because this is the song that plays over the opening credits

This is an absolute BOP why haven't I got into this before. I am not really a fan of early Bieber but I can't help but jam to this  :music:

I am going RECENT with the absolute stomper 'Children'. Not sure why it wasn't a single but it got a MOVEMENT video which is a start.

I feel like it's a modern day take on the MJ inspired peace ballads. And it goes OFF in the chorus :music: Such a banger ~

Really nice message in this, mixed with some huge production, would've made a great single imo
Very nice sang :music: don't seem to revisit it as much as I should

The next song is the 'should of been' single 'Take You' from Believe. This would have been the next single after 'All Around The World' but the disappointing chart performance of the latter resulted in this remaining an album track. It did atleast get a performance at the 2013 BBMA's.

I did think Children sounded a bit like a Years & Years track and would have worked as a single. Robbed by the fourth single curse for sure.

Speaking of the fourth single curse, TAKE YOU WAS ROBBED.
