Looks like its officially been postponed. Play also have it listed for February next year.

 

Must have been a real last minute decision as woolworths had it on the system ready to sell.

 

I imagine all the CDs have already been made and are now gonna sit in a warehouse for 3 months!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo! oh this is annoying, we were all so excited bout it! do u think its cos mercury have done such a bad job of promoting last year? i was on the radio1 website today and it doesnt even have last yr down as being released this week!

The only thing, I can see happening, is that LY is doing rather badly in the midweeks, so they've decided to pull the album & probably go back to record a song as amazing and probably sounds like WYMO to help sell the album in February. The album was perfect as it is, I think that it just needed a stronger first single to establish it or that last year should have been released in January!

I wouldn't have minded so much if they'd told us it was gonna be released in Feb a few months ago, but 6 days before its due to be released...its appaling, surely thye've already got all the CDs ready and waiting to be sent to the shops???

The banner on Lucie's MySpace has been changed now too. The one that said that the album would be out on November 13th. It's changed into this one now:

yeah i agree...as much as i love last year, i think there are other songs which r much stronger from the ones i've heard....i think 'alone' would make a great single....can the album still be downloaded from itunes?

i'd imagine so, just to try and help last year sell a bit more! if she does i guess she'll be saying on there bout the album
