I think Sam Smith will take the no.1, making Taylor a one week one, as he will be much bigger.

I am not sure how well Kelly Rowland will do - depends of it is rnb or pop.

I actually think it all depends on if Sam Smith gets added as song #1 on the Hot Hits playlist on Spotify + all immaginable playlists like Taylor did... if so, he will get the #1, but otherwise I don't see it... with a normal Spotify release like Pink (she was on no playlists at all in the beginning), cannot see the masses streaming Sam Smith without being pushed to it...
she's made #1 so totally worth it

But won't Taylor have two weeks at #1 by the time Sam Smith releases?

Also do you mean Kelly Clarkson? Or are both Kellys coming back in the same week?

Refreshing to hear Maroon 5 going upbeat again, although still doesn't feel very them. It sounds like their attempt at a NEIKED song.
Maroon 5 have became one of those bands where none of the other members even play instruments any more, essentially it's nothing more than a vanity project for Adam Levine now
there is no f***ing justice in the world. Pop music is f***ing dead. Taylor can release fart, so could JB and it would be #1 for seven months, its a f***ing piss take then you have passionate songwriters and performers like Mollie who make so much more effort to promote and they don't get a look in. f*** YOU SPOTIFY.

Lol. Chill, if a song is relevant enough and good enough then it'll be a hit - P!nk's latest isn't particularly Spotify friendly but it's become a Spotify hit, and total randomers that nobody has heard of have had hits recently (like James Hype for example, nobody had a clue who he was this time last month but now he has a top 10 smash). It's really not THAT unfair, it's always been how it is - if the labels can afford big bucks promotion, then they'll pay for it.

Hahahaha, christ. The song is frankly dismal, so I'd say the fact it's flopping is the real justice here.

"Na na na na na wanna let my hair down" Queen of songwriting x

Ngl Taylor has written a whole album by herself and quite often writes about feelings, love etc. so you can't say she isn't a passionate songwriter, find a better example  I love Hair Down but proper pure pop like tht is not going to smash in 2016, especially when it sounds a bit demoy. And I don't think she did it to get a hit, she's releasing what she wants regardless and best of luck to her tbh.

These songs didn't make number one.. despite tirelessly being promoted to the point at one point when two band members were sick.

Yet this did. Not promoted at all (i.e. performed on tv, promoted around the country etc)

Im actually having sleepless nights worried about Cheryl for when she comes back.

I guess Higher is top 200 on iTunes, 7 years after release. Hope that nasty girl Taylor can say the same. Kim was right she is nasty snake.
