Posted September 7, 20177 yr Source: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYtT79_HrYM/?taken-by=unahealy Una has been counting down on her Instagram to something happening Friday. She started off the countdown with 3 days, then 2 and has confirmed it is one of "the most beautiful country song in years". Who do we think she has collaborated with for what I assume is going to be a single? :) Edited September 7, 20177 yr by Saenerys
September 7, 20177 yr It would be FAB if she got a remix of a country singer's single in the US or something.
September 7, 20177 yr Oh it's a remix of Brett Young's 'In Case You Didn't Know' which already has peaked at 19 in the US. Probably to help push it over here?
September 7, 20177 yr Interesting choice of collaborative artist to try and break it through in the UK.
September 7, 20177 yr Author I'm quite surprised shes getting pushed this much. I'm sure Kimberley Walsh was signed to Decca and didn't get half this much attention!

Well, it's a whole different situation for each artist, but I guess comparatively Una is a better fit in this particular market. Una has been doing lots of gigs, while I don't know how many opportunities would Kimberley have to tour her musical covers album. The solo version is pretty 'massive' on Spotify, with 54 million plays, which makes me think the label will make a big push for this in the UK/Ireland. This could be a huge opportunity for Una. Interesting choice of collaborative artist to try and break it through in the UK. As much as I love Una, yeah, it's an interesting choice. I'm guessing they wanted someone who would have planty of time to promote the single along with Brett, and maybe they have some label connection, so they also benefit by promoting Una. That's something I hadn't considered. I'm just watching the original video on Youtube (113m views :o) and hes pretty hot - what a bonus *.*
September 7, 20177 yr Well, to be fair - Kimberley Walsh recorded a cash-in project from appearing on Strictly with a bunch of covers. Una - to her credit - recorded this project mostly on her own cash and didn't cost Decca a load of cash. They might see potential in trying to push her into the elusive UK country market, which isn't a big one but might earn a small profit with a sensible budget.

I'd love for her to become part of the UK country market - there are so many gems such as The Shires and Ward Thomas who are doing relatively well and I don't see why they (other than Una being part of a girl group before) are any different to success than Una.
September 7, 20177 yr The song could easily be one of those Radio 2 staples that makes an album sell decently and tbh I guess that's Una all over really
September 7, 20177 yr It would also be great if this duet version is also released in the US. Even if they don't promote it over there, it might introduce her to a new audience.
September 8, 20177 yr Author I can't find it on Youtube, I wonder if they'll have a video of it with both of them in? I must be ridiculously blind as I can't find either Una or Nadine's new tracks on Spotify
September 8, 20177 yr They are both on Spotify and Apple Music, try searching the full song title! Love this collaboration, and it could be a great move for Una and Brett to get that R2 airplay.

I must be ridiculously blind as I can't find either Una or Nadine's new tracks on Spotify  Nadine's is hard to find because she goes now under just her first name and not 'Nadine Coyle.' For Una's track, just get on her profile, as it's highlighted as the artist's pick.
September 8, 20177 yr Brett hasn't even tweeted about his song being out in the UK. They are obviously/hopefully saving the promotional push for when he goes there to tour with Lady Antebellum in October.
