Great run for 'New Rules' although personally I'm a bit bored of it now, I've just heard it too much. I still enjoy the video though!

 

Good to see Taylor doing well too, it's a good song for what it is but I still don't think it will be remembered as one of her classics. And I know I'm in the minority here but that 'old Taylor's dead' line actually makes me cringe a bit it's so bad :unsure:

 

Nice new entry for Nick Jonas, 'Find You' is my favourite thing he's done since 'Jealous'. It goes to show he doesn't need collabs or elaborate production, this is just a nice simple pop song, which showcases his voice really well, and I think it's great! I know R1 haven't supported his last few singles but I'm hoping this will get them back on board as it deserves to at least go Top 40.

I never got the fuss for 'New Rules' when it seemed to be coming through as a fan favourite upon album release, but the music video made me realise just how much a pop banger it is. The pre-chorus with the list of rules is so fun to sing along to and the song as a whole always gets people excited in a club. Interested to know what the next single will be.

 

Yeah, I can't see 'Look What You Made Me Do' being one that is widely celebrated by Taylor fans in the future either. A lot of its success was built on hype, which isn't to say it's not a good song, but I just think whatever Taylor released as her comeback single would have been a hit. I'm not so keen on '...Ready For It?' but it seems like fans are more likely to return to that in the future.

 

I agree, 'Jealous' set the standard for Nick Jonas and I don't think he's matched it since, although 'Close' was very good. 'Find You' has really lovely production and it suits him well. Fingers crossed he can get some radio support again.
