April 24, 20214 yr Good Trouble's mid-season 3 finale aired this week and honestly, this show keeps getting better  I love how topical the show continues to be without ever talking down to its audience. The cast is SO good and I'm already itching to watch the next episode!!
December 1, 20231 yr Late to the party but I've watched The Fosters and I'm currently on Season 4 of Good Trouble and I'm obsessed. Such a fantastic shows both of them and I'm finding Good Trouble to be marginally better than the former show. Glad I can post in here without Season 4 and 5 spoilers as the thread has dropped off haha. Season 5 (Part B) is coming in January.
December 1, 20231 yr One thing I am struggling with is the timeline. What year is it supposed to be now, 2018/19 ish?
December 1, 20231 yr Author I'm ready too, it's been a long wait :cheeseblock: Welcome to the party, Lewis :cheer:  Really glad you've been enjoying both shows! Both fantastic, very heartwarming/absorbing! The Fosters was like a bit of a comfort blanket - even though it tackled some pretty heavy issues, it felt warm and just lovely to watch. I really need to give it a rewatch sometime. I feel similarly about Good Trouble but it does stand on its own away from The Fosters, it's grittier. I enjoy the "chosen family" dynamic of it and all the characters have progressed and grown. I feel like the timelines are hazy and not given much thought by the writers, ha.
December 10, 20231 yr Turns out Good Trouble has now been cancelled and the next batch of episodes in the new year will be the last :(
December 10, 20231 yr Noooooo :( :( apparently, though part 2 of season 5 has already been filmed, they're going to be allowed to film extra parts for the "supersized" finale to wrap it up properly. That's something at least. :(
December 10, 20231 yr Author Noooo  That’s such a shame! I hope they’re able to wrap it up in a satisfying way, but I fear it could come across as being very rushed.
May 11, 20241 yr Apparently the rest of Season 5 is now on Disney+ in the UK so I need to get a move on and get watching
