Nicki is pretty famous for using alter egos on tracks from the likes of Roman Zolanski (a blonde homosexual man who is a lot more wild than Nicki herself), Nicki Lewinsky (from the mixtape days) and The Harajuku Barbie (the one who does all the soft spoken/girly verses etc.). I think it's pretty interesting the she channels these different personalities and it definitely gives her music a unique-ness that helps separate herself from other (female) rappers.

I think it's great she has several alter-egos as they all express different sides of her artistry in their own way. It's no different than Beyoncé or anyone else having an alter-ego and we know Nicki definitely brought the looks with each one!

Roman and Martha have got to be my favourite, I always love it when they show up.

I feel like she's moved away from the alter egos with things she's done recently but hopefully she'll bring them back for NM4, I absolutely love them. Definitely sets her music apart from others.
