The more I listen to 'Lemon' the more I think that it's not really all that but kudos to Rihanna's star power for giving N.E.R.D. their first Billboard Hot 100 hit and dragging it all the way into the top 40. I did actually mean female artists oops :lol: Still an absolutely incredible achievement obvs.
March 18, 20187 yr A remix of this with Drake rapping the first verse has been released: fzCct3j-pH8 Doesn't really add much to the song. It could give it a bit more longevity in the US, it's a bit too late for the UK though.
March 19, 20187 yr I’d like it a lot more if Pharrel’s first verse was included too, since Drakes is very similar to Rihanna’s but at the beginning. I really liked Lemon for a while but this is like starting the song halfway through :lol:
April 2, 20187 yr So this remix has actually propelled the song back to its #40 peak on the Hot 100! :o It's also slowly but surely making its way up the UK Spotify chart, although I imagine it'll be on ACR now so impossible to re-enter the Official Chart.
