May 23, 20187 yr Artwork: Expected to be released in autumn - she has a show at the Royal Festival Hall on 3rd October so definitely before then. Apparently this is the full tracklist: 1. "A Pessimist Is Never Disappointed" 2. "Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love)" 3. "Take Me Home (A Girl Like Me)" 4. "Murder On The Dancefloor" 5. "Move This Mountain" 6. "Music Gets The Best Of Me" 7. "Mixed Up World" 8. "Catch You" 9. "Me And My Imagination" 10. "Today The Sun’s On Us" 11. "Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)" 12. "Bittersweet" 13. "Not Giving Up On Love" 14. "Young Blood" 15. "Love Is A Camera" 16. "Wild Forever" 17. TBA (New song co-written with Ed Harcourt) Glad that "Bittersweet" made it and I'm also looking forward to hearing "Take Me Home" and "Catch You".
May 23, 20187 yr That's such a grotesquely awful album cover. Oh Sophie. :( I'm intending on going to that October show.
July 28, 20186 yr She can considering she doesn't like it. Really? I've never seen anything to suggest that.
July 29, 20186 yr One thing Sophie did say the other day on Twitter that I thought was worth mentioning here - this release is going to be accompanied with the original recordings as a bonus disc. Which means the original single version of 'Groovejet' is gonna be available digitally for streaming at long last!

The orchestrated version yeah that’s fine, but Positiva are very sparse with their release availability on streaming sites and so Spiller and the label will have to agree to allow it which seems unlikely after all this time already.
August 11, 20186 yr I swear she's mentioned not liking it a few times, along with I Won't Change You. Typical the other song I love for SEB  Ps who is that guy in your sig he is hawt
August 12, 20186 yr Has anyone else heard her new song, love is you? I didn’t know it was out until I saw a posting on Facebook. She is going to be performing it with a full band @ orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall on 3rd Oct. it’s quitedisco pop and bit like come with us but not as good. I wonder if this is the new track on the song diaries?

Well Sophie has actually confirmed in an interview that “love is you” is the first single from the song diaries album. Murder on the dance floor is next and the album is scheduled for January 2019. August 17, 20186 yr Loving 'Love Is You'. Quite fitting that she's covered the song that (partly) had a hand in launching her all those years ago, nice centrepoint to the album!
