Seen him live in February, very good live performer and one of my favourite artists. Wondering if anyone else likes the work of José or saw his tour early 2006? I think that there is a large amount of people who like Heartbeats but not listened much to Veneer. Really good album, should give it a listen sometime.

I really respect his work, I think he's one of the most talented artists around at the moment, and "Veneer" is a hell of an album!

We should be getting more from him, it's a shame he's quite underrated. In spite of "Veneer" selling enough to get a platinum certification, neither "Crosses" nor "Hand On Your Hand" could achieve the same success as "Heartbeats".

Veneer's been around a while now, anything new coming up I wonder.

I hope so, his ticket prices were so cheap aswell, £13!

I think he's really good but the album bores me. All of the tracks are great but I find them too similar so only ever listen to them individually...

agreed... needs to change style a bit on different songs...

He performed at the Zero 7 gig in Sheffield and my friends who went said he was completely drowned out.

I believe so. When he's on stage he is very quiet, just likes to get on with his work. True performer

Yupp, that's very nice. And he has a beautiful voice! I love it when it's just José, his voice and his guitar performing, it's very personal!
