January 3, 20187 yr So glad you’re a fan of this too 🕺🏻 I definitely prefer this, but 'Number 1 Angel' is incredible too. It’s the more commercial and accessible of the two I’d say, 'Pop 2 ' is like its more abrasive, industrial sister, haha.
January 3, 20187 yr I have never ever been a Charli fan (away from Boom Clap and Boys) - I saw her live at a nightclub and she was an absolute state and I rallied against her then and snuffed at those that stanned "the kween!!1" when Sucker was really quite bad in places. BUT THIS MIXTAPE IS E V E R Y T H I N G. It is massive, global and so abrasive. The features all work perfectly and come from all backgrounds, genres and styles. I am totally obsessed with Femmebot, like it makes me feel so empowered and LIKE I CAN DO ANYTHING HELP ME. Out Of My Head is incredible too obvs. I can't believe she's impressed me as much as she has with this, but it goes to show that with the right kind of material and messages and things to say you can do it and win over anyone. I'll never really write anyone off but Charli was so low down in my affections it was only because I loved Boys that I even gave this the time of day. A COLLECTION <3 I need to check out the other mixtape from last year. How does it compare to this? Go straight to Lipgloss.

January 4, 20187 yr I still haven't listened to this in full oops. I really liked Number 1 Angel but that took me ages to get into as well, it wasn't until I saw her live last year and realised I knew every song that I realised how good she is. I'm not overly keen on "Out of My Head" at the moment though but I will get round to listening to this soon.

August 11, 2024Aug 11 Is this still my favourite ever Charli project or has Brat overtaken it? I think this still edges it because of nostalgia. In a year or so I'll see if the latter can overtake it~
