12  (from 9) Justin Timberlake - SexyBack

Out 28.8.2006

Having been away from the music scene for the last couple of years to pursue an acting career (apart from the odd cameo appearances on records with Snoop Dogg and Sergio Mendes), Justin Timberlake finally makes a dramatic return to the charts with the Timbaland-produced 'SexyBack'. Not so much a comeback as a mission statement, 'SexyBack' acts as a taster for Justins forthcoming album, 'FutureSex/ LoveSound', his second since he departed the boyband N*Sync, becoming one of the slickest male solo artists of the 21st century. With dirty and sleazy synth riffs, processed vocals and lyrics oozing sexual intentions, 'SexyBack' might well just be Pop Single of the Year. The track also goes some way to cement Timbaland's status of being 2006's hottest producer, which he already demonstrated on Nelly Furtado's 'Maneater'. - HMV

I still like 'SexyBack'

I prefer the remix on his album though ^_^

It can't have been, it takes two weeks for it to be deleted and it was only released physically last week.

Why do you ask?

because of the Superman logo  on their cover

I can't believe they went with this song over "Ring The Alaram" and have you notice that Beyonce just like Salt-N-Pepa has an all-girl band in the video?

Ring The Alarm wouldnt doo as well as this, and wouldnt help the album like this song is doing.

Beatfreakz isn't deleted but withdrawn form the chart due them not owning a copyright for them to use the Superman "S" on the front cover

So it was actually withdrawn? :o Interesting ^_^

That's not really fair is it, as that has nothing to do with the song.

I'm happy if that's true though, as I hate it. ^_^

It's round two for the Beatfreakz as they return with their infectious new single. Taken the all-time classic track 'SuperFreak' by the great funk star Rick James (from his 1981 smash album 'Street Songs') the 'Freakz are ready to storm the dancefloors yet again. - HMV

New single 'If You Got The Money' is a quintessential Jamie T banger, fusing screechy punk rock guitars, flowing vocals and a touch of the Beastie Boys schoolyard humour into a tight three minute pop song. Jamie T is currently recording his debut album which is due for release in January. - HMV

Jamie T - If You Got the Money - Discuss here

Well this an improvement for Jamie T. from the #22 peak of "Shiela" earlier this year. But I wonder if he still likes being compared to The Streets everytime he releases a new record.
