'God's Plan' is just a useless pile of nothingness. At least 'Barking' has something to it, a slight hint of individuality and character.

 

To be fair, I didn't listen to the lyrics. I appreciate it may be good lyrically and I do think Drake is talented, his latest output just isn't for me. He was at his best during his Take Care era.

Great to see the combination of Mabel and Not3s going top 10 their two hits this year have been upbeat and fresh!

 

Everything about 'Fine Line' just makes sense: an artist building upon their previous smash hit by releasing something poppier, but retaining an R&B sound. The song itself sounds fresh, on-trend and very accessible while the choice of featured artist is astute as Not3s is pretty ubiquitous right now and they have great musical chemistry together as evidence on 'My Lover'. It's probably a perfect pop song for 2018.

Agreed it hit me straight away and it's not my thing really plus I loved My Lover at the start of the year!!
