Posted January 2, 20187 yr :hi: Unapologetic has grown in my appreciations so much in 2017 and is now my 2nd favourite album of Rih edging Rated R :o I think it’s a very experimental album and at the time her most ever! Some songs set the stage for some of ANTI’s tracks tbh. Quick lil rate~ 07 Phresh Out The Runway 11 Diamonds 08 Numb 10 Pour It Up 08 Loveeeeee Song 10 Jump 08 Right Now 10 What Now 07 Stay 05 Nobody’s Business 09 Love Without Tragedy / 06 Mother Mary 05 Get It Over With 10 No Love Allowed 08 Lost In Paradise 07 Half Of Me
January 2, 20187 yr It's one of the few albums I've ever heard where I can honestly say I don't like one song on it. It's all basically scraps from the cutting room floor hurriedly put together on the cheap because she had to keep up the momentum and release something
January 2, 20187 yr It is definitely her most underrated album. 'Anti' is her best album but 'Rated R' and 'Unapologetic' complete ha album trilogy.
January 2, 20187 yr I dont like a lot of the album but Pour it Up is one of her most underrated singles for sure.
January 2, 20187 yr Definitely agree with you about it being her most underrated. It's not dissimilar to 'Rated R' and I think it's actually on par with that album despite being initially underwhelmed with it. "Pour It Up" and "Jump" are both ridiculously underrated and I actually really like "Phresh Out the Runway" and "Loveeeeee Song" too! The only BAD song is "Get It Over With".
March 17, 20187 yr Just listened to this album in full for the first time in a long while and what a great album it is. Phresh out the runway aside I like every song although I prefer the later half of the album. I remember in 2012 on first listen I was disappointed but overtime have grown to enjoy this as a whole as it’s ages a lot better than some of her previous records. Also her last UK number one album as well! Definitely underrated though in terms of being an afterthought of her discography. Although it’s record breaking in the US as it became her very first number one album there.
