Absolutely amazing short mini-series. I don't know why I've been postponing watching that for so long. So gripping and not boring in the slightest. Jessica Biel's performance is stellar. The Golden Globes this year is between her and Kidman for sure.

Watched this back at the end of the summer when it was on the USA Network - one of my TV highlights of 2017. The ending of episode 7 has stayed with me for all of the wrong reasons tho - SO disturbing.

 

Jessica Biel has hinted that discussions are under way in regards to a potential second season so we'll have to wait and see!

i hope they will be completely revamping the characters and cast for season 2 then if it happens because i can't see what direction they can go after that conclusive ending.

Absolutely loved this and Jessica Biel was phenomenal.

I’ve seen a few articles about potential further seasons and they’ve said they’ll have to focus on other ‘cases’, everything has been wrapped up for these characters in this story.

I just finished it and HOLY SHIT I was not expecting to enjoy this so much, the way all the little plot twists and devices unravel throughout the series is so amazing to watch happen and there's so many !!! moments (like end of episode 7 had me broken), the finale too was so gripping and it concluded so well, I'm completely blown away by this.

I love the idea of future seasons being new cases cus if they're anywhere as near as interesting as this one I'm hyped
