I can make out a name of Simon Hale in that fourth image if that’s anything to go by…

I assume this is Simon Hale, who is a composer and an orchestrator.

I hope it's coming out on July 1 to commemorate the fifth anniversary of Vol. 1. I'm aware it's technically June 30, but it's Thursday. :P

And the very first post is from him saying he's moving on from 'Funk Wav' to us then discussing a possible Love Renegerator release to coming back round to Funk Wav again :kink:

Although to be fair he did put out a whole album's worth of material for Love Regenerator (13 songs so far), it is just that project clearly lends itself better to random single releases than an album format

According to a reliable source, the lead single from Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 has been chosen and the music video has been shot as well.

Ooh exciting! So it really could be coming any day now.

The fourth image on that twitter post clearly shows the sheet music for the orchestral parts of the song, maybe someone musically talented should read it and play it and tell us how it sounds :D

Funk Wav x Madeon would actually make a lot of sense and I’d be very here for it happening.

 

though I expect Calvin will just stick with the big American rap and RnB names for the most part.
