If this was the Aussie entry the lyrics would be slightly different. "Don’t touch my bongos. You bloody drongo"

(Might be clearer for Tombo)

I find it sexist tbh

You are truly an idiotic person.

Kicking off about Israel yet Czech Republic has lyrics in it about a girl f***ing a guy at a club, Sweden 2017 having the 'look so freaking beautiful' lyric in a song all about chasing after women and not to mention Poland with the we are Slavic girls being overly sexualised...

Think someone just either has a problem with Netta or is trying to do the typical 'I hate a song cause bj like it' thing

I like the Aussie version, shame it isn't the actual song

I just don't like the line and it doesn't fit well in the song and sounds out of place. Maybe the songwriters don't know much English vocabulary or colloquial phrases.

I've not heard those other songs Cameron but I don't find them problematic tbh based on your descriptions.

i'm not your toy

you stupid...

They could have just had completely different lines for that part of the song

It conveys the message perfectly. You're barely backing up your frankly incredibly stupid point and it's coming across as being contrary for the sake of it  Don't like the song fine, but what a silly thing to pick at for it.

But the point is she's not (nor is any woman - or man!) something for this particular man to just play with. She's not a toy, she's a person. If somebody started touching you inappropriately, I think you'd find the word "stupid" quite nice compared to what you'd deserve to be called!

Yeah, given that situation I would think it is appropriate to call some one stupid. I have had it done to me and it wasn't nice

If you wanna talk sexist lyrics, look at the biggest songs of the decade - Blurred Lines especially

That was overly criticised and was more of a case of SJWs-gone-loco

so do you think this song deserves more criticism for sexist content then ‘blurred lines’?

'blurred lines, I know she want it'

Um in an age of Winesteins, I think talking about sex on blurred lines is kinda gross

FAAAAR more sexist than 'you stupid boy'

'She got dem double Ds' - that ALi G song. Songs with women prancing about next to rappers in underwear. Vs You stupid boy. On far more famous and international songs. Hmmmmmm.

They could have just had completely different lines for that part of the song

you could've also just not chosen to post your initial 'this is sexist!' claim but you did so

sorry you feel so uncomfortable

I'm sorry but you genuinely must be taking the mick?

The song is basically about rape yet it's "stupid boy" which is sexist...

Yes definitely, it was the song of the year and just a case of SJWs going loco and university ‘safe space’ culture rolling into the mainstream media

I posted it cos it does sound sexist and it is just a ridiculous lyric

How is the song about rape? I don’t get that meaning from the song

I thought it was about an obese girl taking pride in herself and trying to feel good despite her size

Usually skinny girls get picked for this sort of thing (I am not hating or being sizist, just posting a fact)
