ok. as i said, the album sales are accurate. The singles info is a bit midleading cos its sales and airplay but it still show how popular the song has been gloabally even if you dont get to know the actual copies sold.
Thanks Dannyboy. When will we start getting sales figures for Rudebox the album do you think? Next Saturday? :unsure:

Yeah will get them next week prob. Should be interesting

Dont forget these are sales from Jan 2006 onwards. Albums are actual sales. Singles are based on sales and airplay so you can see how popular a song really is. I will update everytime there is any more info. If you want you can pin this post like other forums have. Ill update it weekly from now on.

Albums

Greatest Hits

Total = 89.000

Intensive Care

Total = 1.693.000

Trippin

Total = 1.132.000

I'd say The GH & IC sold alot more than that in 2006 since it's nearly sold 7 million worlwide ^_^ That is just the sales for the weeks it made the chart I pressume :unsure:

Are they the 2006 Tripping Sales? In 2005 it had over 3.5 million points according to here http://www.mediatraffic.de/tracks-2005.htm

these are all 2006 and yes its only when its sold enough to be in the chart. as i said its a good indication of success not dead on actuals sadly

Thanks Dannyboy :D

It seems to only have the album sales per week for 2006 but 2005 and 2004 don't. But it does show the end of year sales for 2005 & 2004 which is good :D

Anyone impressed by Rudebox's 1st week album sales ?

I'd say The GH & IC sold alot more than that in 2006 since it's nearly sold 7 million worlwide ^_^ That is just the sales for the weeks it made the chart I pressume :unsure:

GH is #71 in the UK YTD album chart, with ~183k sales in 2006 :) However most of these sales have been built up while its chart position is outside the top40 -hence not counted by mediatraffic -_-

UPDATE. Rudebox (Album) week 2

Edited by Dannyboy

I know those sales figures are from the MediaTraffic Site and that's what it says the sales are. But they just don't look right to me. :blink:

Rudebox has been the top selling album in Europe for the past 3 weeks. How many has it sold in the UK alone in those 3 weeks? Over 200,000? :unsure: That only leaves 500,000 for the whole rest of the World. And it's much higher up the charts in mainland Europe than in the UK.

I'm confused. :unsure:

It is very strange indeed. I mean Europe in not 1 country, it is an entire continent and Rudebox is #1 for a 3rd week yet in the entire world it has only sold 158,000 :lol:

Somehow I think media traffic miss alot more than the reported 7% -_-

I'd love to know what the German sales figures are (even for the first week) as that would give us a better indication. He's been No1 in Germany for 3 weeks now and the German music market is really quite big. (Bigger than the UK? Bigger population anyway). <_<

Wonder how we can find out. Are you still on Fans Supreme Scotty? Has anything been mentioned on there about German sales figures? :unsure:
