If the reworked Greatest Hits is along the lines of say, Kylie's Abbey Road Sessions album I think it could work. Especially an orchestral 'Greatest Day' or 'Back For Good'!

It could work, could the main word here.

It would work for sure on the songs you mentioned, it also could potentially make Sure sound like a good song.

With that said, i remain unsure how it may work on songs such as These Days and Kidz for example.

It really could be anything, cry would tie into that sound but I would be shocked if they do unless it's a double album with orchestral versions and dance versions, that could be interesting.
Surely it will be a double album unless they just do a single album of reworked stuff? A single album wouldn’t do their back catalogue justice though!

There’s so many questions that I’ve got - but I’m optimistic!

They need to re-connect again with the fans. Maybe this release will bring us back to the 2million+ sales again

I dont think we will be seeing the 2 million sales again but double platinum i would take for this, a million seller would be just ace.

After the sales of their last 2 studio sets a million selling album would be more than a fantastic result.

However, based on the sales of Three and Wonderland, 500,000 would be a good outcome.

In large, if they managed double platinum i would be delighted.

I assume they can at the least outsell Wonderland with this album.

The Greatest Hits sounds amazing to me. Gary has tweeted.

'Our Greatest hits album is now finished and mastered. Every track has had a face lift. Some have been completely re recorded. 3 brand new songs. There’s guests and lots of interesting links between songs. What a journey #TT30'

Who are the guests? Backstreet Boys maybe. Interesting links between songs - spoken word or instrumentals?

If it's all their singles wouldn't it be a three disc minimum?

I can't wait for the WORLD tour, though I hope it is just that. All continents and countries never visited but more than due. This will also help the new Greatest Hits and build some kind of momentum and ripple effect for it and their music.

Hmmm...maybe something like Barry Manilow on Could it be Magic? Or perhaps one of the 3 new songs is a duet?

Wonder if Robbie will be on one of those songs, or if he’s involved at all? Would be surprised if he wasn’t...

Could well be 3 discs, for 30 years! A disc a decade!

I feel like that could be a possibility with a future Gary solo release! Would be really cool to hear!
Id love it but i wont get my hopes up. If the new greatest hits is duets i have a feeling Katherine Jenkins and Elton John could be 2 of the duets.

I for some reason cant see the duets having big names simply because i think it may have possibly leaked into the press by now if it was Elton John for example.

Maybe the twist isnt duets, maybe it is a vocal switch, for example Mark is lead on Back for Good, Howard is lead on Rule the World, Gary is lead on Never Forget etc.

The band have put out a tweet asking for flag emojis of where this world tour should go. Now being a tad sad I gathered up the information up to this point and wrote down the countries mentioned by fans.

This world tour is the most exciting aspect of the 30 year celebration for me as it's LONG overdue!

The absolute clear favourite is Spain by far in terms of responses followed by the USA and then Israel. So at moment it looks like this from response ....

The most prominent responses are the countries from North/South America as expected and they are listed below.

Highlighted are the countries never toured before. Brackets last year toured in that country.

AFRICA

South Africa

ASIA

China

Indonesia (1995)

Israel (2017)

Japan (1995)

Thailand (2016)

UAE (2017)

AUSTRALASIA

Australia (2017)

EUROPE

Belgium (1995)

France

Germany (2015)

Ireland (2017)

Italy (2015)

Netherlands (2015)

Poland

Portugal

Spain (2007)

Sweden (2006)

UK (2017)

NORTH AMERICA

Canada

USA

SOUTH AMERICA

Argentina

Brazil

Chile

If they want to tread old ground as well these are remaining nations they're previously toured and year.

Austria (2015)

Denmark (2015)

Finland (1994)

New Zealand (2017)

Singapore (2016)

Switzerland (2015)

Taiwan (2007)

IFPI Top 20 music markets in the world - Bold if TT never toured there and in brackets the last time if they have.

1. USA

2. Japan (1995)

3. Germany (2015)

4. UK (2017)

5. France

6. South Korea

7. Canada

8. Australia (2017)

9. Brazil

10. China

11. Netherlands (2015)

12. Italy (2015)

13. Spain (2007)

14. Sweden (2006)

15. Norway

16. Denmark (2015)

17. Switzerland (2015)

18. Mexico

19. India

20. Argentina

So out of the current Top 20 music markets in the world. TT have during career played in half (10) and half they haven't (other 10). Within the top ten markets there are 6 nations they have never toured, hopefully this will be addressed on the world tour 2019.

When they are out on tour they should go on national TV in these countries and promote the album. It's a greatest hits after all so could have publicity for these TV shows. Touring is effective but TV is still the best platform for promotion.

I am hoping we will start to get more official news now in the next week or two.

A new single surely will be soon announced.
