I appreciate that this is a Robbie/Take That forum however I thought I'd post East 17's chart info here for anyone interested. They were always below Take That in the UK though in singles were fairly matched. The big difference between the two comes Global in album success.

East 17 however unlike Take That in the latter part of their initial career never took off in North or South America and were very hit and miss across Asia also. They never made a dent in Japan the biggest Asian market.

I agree the Take That band legacy is larger than the sum of its parts excluding Robbie of course. Mark initially did well in Spain however with his first album.
