if this is what I think it is you HAVE to send it

(unless you’ve already decided)

This is what I'm very much leaning towards choosing  Haven't fully decided now but I have managed to cut it down to 4 hopefuls:

L1Rx2q4.png boh5ABI.png NwdOSAJ.png uMkveyo.png

- Blissful, icelandic synthpop duo featuring Svala who represented Iceland in Eurovision 2017.

- Bonnie McKee, american singer-songwriter who has made numerous pop hits for other artists such as Katy Perry.

- Kilian & Jo, a german electronic duo with hypnotizing beats and haunting vocals.

- The Brocks, a dance/electronic band from the us with the knowledge to catch you way off guard and make you wanna dance.

Big hype towards your debut entry from Bøtanikkä

We're both sent german dance acts ;)

Thanks! I've yet to hear your song but based on your reaction to mine I'm pumped already to hear it

OMG YOU LISTENED *.*

(I didn't know Kilian & Jo were German!)

I did! Your comment very much pushed me in this direction even though I was strongly considering it already. Knowing at least one person was pumped to hear it made me decide to use it :D

I know! It's such an earworm

Alright, that was a short lived adventure

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it for 104 as I'm leaving on holiday April 18-May 2 so unless the songs can be posted April 14-16 or so I won't be able to listen to all of them and rank them all. Hopefully I can participate because I have some great songs planned that I really wanna try and utilise to make up for my disappointing DNQ this time around.

Already starting to brainstorm what to send in BJSC 104. Will be taking my new laptop with me on holiday so I should be able to listen and vote there!

Currently speculating whether to send Icelandic pop smash or a (not Icelandic) legit Dance banger.

Currently thinking about either a dance act with a song that shares its name with a Destiny's Child song or a Scandinavian singer with a song that shares its name with a James Arthur song for 105.

Good news, 'My Love' came 14th not 16th Jafet! :P Really glad this was a solid hit for you, fantastic song  out of interest, what were the other 2 songs you confirmed before that one? It was a great choice for a last minute third attempt confirmation

omg really?? I must have counted wrong lmao I thought I was 16th! The other two were "Go Bang" by PNAU (had no idea it had been submitted before lmao) and "Better" by Felix Jaehn ft Clara Mae. Happy I did well with my eventual choice, sure wasn't expecting it haha.

Go Bang wasn't submitted before but it did get vetoed and this was before it became a top 10 in Australia, so it would have ventured into instant veto territory by then.
