There isn’t a single song on this album I don’t like... which is a first for me :o Something about the theatrical cynicism of Brendan’s voice has got me hooked. I’ve been playing their previous album right after this one too - they have a lot of similarities but are very different at the same time. I do prefer DOAB’s Impossible Year to PFTW’s Dying in LA as their closing tracks (so far, anyway, although Dying In LA has been stuck in my head all day )

High Hopes enters the ARIA Top 50 at #44, becoming their 6th Top 50 hit in Australia and first since The Ballad Of Mona Lisa in 2011 :cheer: This is also their 2nd #1 album here

Idk why and how I slept on Say Amen for so long, great song  I'll have to check the whole album out.

The album gets better each listen, hopefully "High Hopes" can be their smash on streaming era to drive this album even more than DOAB.

I don't know how to rank the albums, it's really hard, all i know is that Pretty. Odd is at the bottom for me. :heehee:

Brilliant album now I've got round to it!! It all does a fab job of being something a bit different and quite streaming friendly but still very Panic. The singles, Roaring 20s, Dancing's Not A Crime and Hey Look Ma I Made It are the best for me.

They've been robbed so many times, most outrageously being The Ballad of Mona Lisa peaking at number 43 :(

Since it's been out a while and is firmly looking to be my album of the year x (scaled a bit because I could easily give everything a 10 :P)

07.5 (f*** A) Silver Lining

09.0 Say Amen (Saturday Night)

10.0 Hey Look Ma, I Made It

11.0 High Hopes

09.5 Roaring 20s

08.0 Dancing's Not a Crime

08.5 One of the Drunks

07.5 The Overpass

10.0 King of the Clouds

07.0 Old Fashioned

09.0 Dying in LA

Hopefully the HH video will be released soon, he already filmed.

YAS :cheer:

It's amazing how Brendon elevated his popularity after Vices & Virtues, without anyone. He can go even more far if he promotes his works overseas, like some performances in UK. At least he will tour.

Fantastic performance! Now he just needs to release the video. :P

They should try and get them to perform at the Brits next year, they usually like the token alternative performance!

Would he be nominated for best international male solo or group?

Performance at Reading yesterday

he was so happy, amazing show, i need so much to see him
