It's the calm before the storm of Eurovision, with rehearsals kicking off in a little over a months time. So it's time for the acts to get out there and plug their efforts in a bid for votes! The pre-parties are a great way to gage how the performers are live before May. We'll also be getting interviews from the artists for the fansites which is great to get to know them better (and will make you feel guilty for hating a song by someone so lovely, I guarantee it happens every year). The full Pre-Party calendar is as follows:

24 March // Eurovision PreParty Riga, Riga, Latvia

05 April // London Eurovision Party, London, United Kingdom

07 April // Moscow Eurovision Party, Moscow, Russia

10 April // Israel Calling, Tel Aviv, Israel

14 April // Eurovision In Concert, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

21 April // Eurovision Spain Pre-Party, Madrid, Spain

Tomorrow is the first, and smallest of the events. OGAE Latvia have organised their 5th preview party, with the tagline 'Magical Rendez-vous', in honour of the 15th anniversary since Latvia hosted the Eurovision Song Contest.

Appearing at Riga's Crystal Club tomorrow night will be:

DoReDos (Moldova 2018)

Ieva Zasimauskaite (Lithuania 2018)

Laura Rizzotto (Latvia 2018)

Mikolas Josef (Czech Republic 2018)

Amber (Malta 2015)

Markus Riva (Serial Supernova Loser)

Feel free to use this thread to discuss the Pre-Party performances. Are you attending any of the shows?

For the first time in five years I will not be going :( Sunday was always good for me but Thursday is a no-no as the magazine I work on goes to press and I never get out until late. Line-up looks pretty good too, Jess Mauboy in the UK! Hope whoever from here is going has a good time.

That's a shame Rich :( I do agree having it on a Thursday seems very strange.

Always such a good event, and so many of my friends usually go to it too. Nicki French is such an iconic host too, I will certainly miss going this year and hope to be back next year.

I guess the venue is cheaper to hire out on a Thursday but seeing as the event tends to go on until after midnight it could do with not being at any point during the working week really.

Was Albania a last minute cancellation or did that pass me by completely...?

Ahhhh had such a good day and can't believe I got photos with Benjamin Ingrosso and Felix Sandman

I didn't go to the actual party (had already booked to see Declan McKenna and he was worth it tbf x) but it was brilliant yesterday hanging around to meet a few of my favourites - selfies with Michael Schulte, Benjamin Ingrosso and Felix Sandman made it totally worthwhile
Bulgaria's odds have shortened alot today, I guess it has to do with their London preview performance?
