Yeah, but she led that whole campain against Gary reaching no 1, so, she got her way in that regard. I still cannot stand her.

Ya which is annoying when garys album sold about 20 times more overall.

 

I like the way he acknowledged the change of direction and how he is well aware of the fact people think of him as a balladeer and that he didn't want to be predictable.

I guess it's not easy navigating all these perceptions and expectations.

I like how he addressed it but look forward to him saying in the future I have listened to the fans and gave them what they want. I applaud him doing something new and challenging himself and doing something different but I just wish I liked the results more.

I think it’s going to be more like Robbie’s swing both ways album - especially the duets. I like Elita, and I think incredible is...ok, but hope there’s strong material on the rest of the album

The more I hear of the album I'm less inclined to buy it.

I am very excited for this album to hear the whole album and hear the different styles he explores. Based on that video shared above, it sounds like the album is gonna be really good.

 

I am a massive Steps so I am kinda backing them for the #1 as they missed out to Ed Sheeran last time. I do like both artists and if the album is good I might book to go to the Gary Barlow tour.

 

I saw the Odyssey tour and it was incredible. I love Take That so much.

I am backing Steps too, as early signs are showcasing I will prefer their album to Gary's.

I hope Gary gets the number 1 album, it would make up for SISYL missing out

What sales figures do you expect? I read somewhere that Sam Smith sold 20k in one week and the no 1 Adriana Grande not so much more. What do you expect from Gary?

Rooting for Gary as well. He deserves it more than most other artists.

Ariana Grande and Sam Smiths sales were way lower than i expected them to be which worried me for Kylie and Little Mix for this week with lockdown and they ended up selling double that of Ariana and Sam so its hard to call. LM and Kylie have pushed the boat out for sales so it probably will depend on how much Garry and the label get behind the album throughout the whole week of release.

I’m fascinated to know how many tickets he sold for the tour. Normally you’d expect 50-70k minimum, but in these times...

I think many people may have not bothered buying tickets as they feel its most likely it wont go ahead.
