The single comes at the right time now the album is out of the charts

Back in the charts at 51 in todays mids

Re enters at 90, bit of a drop from 51 in the mids but good its back in the charts, prob very little sales difference whether he was 51 or 90 but i had hoped he would be top 75.

The album should be on the verge of Gold certification.

Gary is performing on episode 1 of the new series of Saturday Night Takeaway - on Feb 20th!

Great promo plug and I'm assuming he will perform enough is enough.

Apparently that’s the last promo he’s doing for the album, so hopefully he’ll get to sing enough is enough and maybe a sing along at the end with TT song

If its his last hopefully its 2 performances, if its only 1 he will probably go with a medley opening with enough is enough.

The press release has him for the End of the Show Show, so it could just be that (which is very unlikely going to be a solo song of his)

Omg it sucks that he isn't gonna do anymore promo, it feels very early to give up as the album was only released a few months ago.

Like many promotion is fairly restricted so id say thats why its so short, plus enough is enough is single number 4, the singles came and went quickly and i suppose they know the album isnt going to do a huge amount more with no tour etc and id say they are happy enough with a number 1 gold selling album.

Do you think the label and Gary are happy with the performance of the album to date?

Yes, I’d have thought so. Another number 1 album and a gold certification is still a pretty impressive return for an artist like Gary at this stage in his career. If the streaming stuff hadn’t been in place, he’d have had a couple of top 20 singles there too.

I think everything considered they will be happy but may be have hoped for a little more single success. Album should eventually make its way to 150k

Gold status is how many examples sold? 125K? I am not sure if he has chosen the right songs. If it would have been ballads he might have sold more. But at least he tries something and that is always good to see.

Elisabeth, do you mind if I ask you something? Why do you always insist on making Gary look like a failure? No matter what he does or what he achieves, you put a negative spin on it. So what if his album didn't chart in other countries? Does that make him less talented or less valid as an artist? 100k in this climate is no small feature, especially for someone of his age and considering how much negative press he's been getting constantly.
