For me it is always a doubt when it comes to such performances as they are either torn apart or not recognized and especially with a song which was no success and to a public which have BTS and Bieber and so on in half time. I read the opinions of casual concert visitors of all age groups in Germany and also the critics and all were incredible positive. Not one word about disappointment that the tour is called Britpop and has only two songs of the album in the set. Matter of fact many tours of Rob had titles which had nothing to do with the album to promote. Yes, some of the fans in the fori and chat groups maybe disappointed. But how many fans are we talking about? We are maybe 10 in here. There are many more in the fan groups on FB but posting are not more than 3 dozens if any. With the casual commentors to insta clips you see either haters or those who love what they were part of in the concerts. I am not a fan of many of the songs these days but of the person Rob. Still I think the hard core fans are too hard and judgemental to what sells tickets. He can not live from their payments and opinions, mho

I see quite a lot of bashing of the setlist for the new leg of the tour. I can understand that in stadiums he will not sing more new songs of an album that has produced no hit and his last albums have not produced hits. I know that the South America leg of the tour sold well. I do not know how well the European concerts do. I still follow Robbie as a person as I think he is an interesting human being but rarely listen to his music anymore (despite I still like a lot of his songs). I often wonder what has caused the break between being successful with records and not being successful. (He is still successful as a live artist to a certain degree). I wonder how he feels about it, how he plans his future?

His last MT team has not always been to the point with what they did and how the marketed him. To get rid of all people/people distance from him is a huge step.

One of the collaborations of Rob I liked most. Number 1 in Sweden and top 5 in many countries in Europe. Not released at that year in the UK but almost a year later as I remember and never charted there.

I agree, his art is impressive. Musicwise it might be the future to do what he likes to do without any huge album. I read Gary Barlow sold his music catalogue entirely to BMG in January. As much as I could google, Rob has sold some admin rights but not his catalogue, so he can still have a huge cash in with that if he wants to do it. What will the tours look like? How often? It will be interesting still.

Robbie/Ayda and clothing lines do net get hand in hand too well. I liked Farrell at its time a lot.

It is a difficult situation for most established artists. I am not following the charts actively, but I see that national music is taking quite some momentum in countries like Germany. I also read that very few of the artists who have been huge in the nineties and noughties see a huge amount of albums or have hit singles, aside they are doing a collab. Well, the collabs of Rob had also not been very successful. The one with Avicii was aside in the UK, but that is the last I remember as success. While people attend his concerts for the show this never lead to higher sales in the countries he visited in the last 15 years. For Take That it is worse as they do not sell even tickets in Europe despite they had been huge. I think Coldplay might be the only ones who maintained sales figures despite being around long. Don't know when I heard the last U2 hit single. Then you check out the hyped new artists like Youngblud (Hope I spelt it right) and you see that his sales are also limited. Simply strange times or times where variety counts. I think Robbie is the first who knows.

It is very difficult for people in the UK to realize that while still many know TT from the nineties, but that's it. They had a great momentum in 2006 when they came back, but anything afterwards aside of Progress and the Progress tour was difficult to sell and venues often kept being empty. A reason why they are also not bringing the big tours to Europe not even the Circus the first time around. For many reasons people bought into Robbie in the rest of Europe but not into TT newer work. Like Katheryn said either you need to be invited for a slot in a show or talk show or bought in. Neither seem to have promised so important for Netflix as promising revenue that it had been done

Somehow I have always thought that Robbie would do an appearance at the BRITS. I cannot see this now with Harry Styles being invited.

I like that they all have aged gracefully, but how long 35 years are. Do you think that TT and Robbie have aligned their promo? They are separate acts but still they are also eternally linked and they all seem to be very supportive
