October 27, 200618 yr Thanks for the info on Lazy Town. Never heard of them. Don't see All Angels making #1 myself or coming close.
October 27, 200618 yr What a hideously vomit inducing list! :puke2: Cliff Richard and Daniel O'Donnell duet? :o  What song are they murdering? Do tell.
October 27, 200618 yr I would love the Christmas Number 1 to be an outsider. Maybe Gnarls Barkley could record a cover of Sleigh Ride!
October 27, 200618 yr  They could. But I bet they don't.... It will be Pop Idol or X-Factor or whatever it's called.
October 27, 200618 yr It is a shame that X Factor will be the deciding factor. It takes the fun out it.
October 27, 200618 yr Some of those won't be in the chart come Xmas, Christina, George Michael and a few others are released next month, how the hell did they get odds.
October 28, 200618 yr I would personally like to see Girls Aloud #1 as their version of Tiffany is great - much better than the original which I loved also. It will obv be the X Factor winner  Then again if someoen decent actually won the show I wouldn't mind as much but I dbout it as this year's seem the worst yet.
October 28, 200618 yr Some of those won't be in the chart come Xmas, Christina, George Michael and a few others are released next month, how the hell did they get odds. Always plenty of people to bet of a brand name or favourite without knowing the slightest thing about what they are doing. Of Course many people that now believe it will be X-Factor quite most likely be doing the same thing...and it may not turn out that way, as it didn't with the pop Idol single and that's how the bookies make there money, possible #1 to arise from nowhere for example what happened a few years ago with 'Jules Andrews - Mad World' are not even on that list yet. Lucky bookmakers, it's an easy winner for them in such a situation.
October 28, 200618 yr I really thought the reality show chart-fixers were on their way out with the relative flop of Steve Brookstein in Xmas 2004, but Shayne Wards 2005 sales were phenomenal....even Band Aid wouldn't have managed to beat him last year. I suppose we just have to hope for a poor winner. Could any kind soul add what song each of the artists in the odds list will be releasing?

I was desperately hoping that the Darkness would make No.1 though....Jules was just too depressing for Christmas.
October 28, 200618 yr These is the odds from paddypower, they exclude the x-factor song though Chart as used by Radio 1. Win Only. ** Betting does not include X Factor Winner 2006. October 28, 200618 yr It's obviously gonna be the X Factor winner  Who are All Angels?
October 28, 200618 yr Who are All Angels? Opera, a bit like Il Divo manage by Simon Cowell, with 13year old boys
October 28, 200618 yr Opera, a bit like Il Divo manage by Simon Cowell, with 13year old boys No Mikey that's Angelis, All Angels are similar but they're all girls.
October 28, 200618 yr Eskimo Disco featuring Pingu 14 - 1 Eskimo Disco have always been one of the great underrated groups of the 21st century, but I reckon that by managing to get Pingu on vocals they're gonna get the big crossover hit they've been desperate for!
