Posted October 27, 200618 yr Is Michael Jackson still the King of Pop? Personally, I say hell yes. The reason being, despite what personal issues the man may have encountered, it still hasn't stopped the likes of Omarion, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Usher and sohh many others from trying their hardest to mimic his likeness even if in tribute. http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/6986/mjacksontoes1dc9.jpg But can Michael make a comeback? When I say comeback I mean, like Mariah Carey. Not like say... Monica. Oh come on... "Sideline Ho"???? Anyways, it seems that Michael will try to restore the well tattered Jackson name and plans to discuss his NEW CD in an exclusive interview scheduled to air on "Access Hollywood" on November 2nd. I can't lie. I would love for Michael to come back and make a hit that changes the world on the level of "We Are the World" or "Thriller" or "Man In the Mirror." I think musical genius is timeless. Besides, we know the American conscious is based on greenbacks and if the right person is set to make the right amount of money, most people would act as if he's never been publicly chastized. Journalists went from constantly mentioning Mariah's breakdown to mentioning her chart position. We act like R. Kelly didn't allegedly p*** on that little girl. October 27, 200618 yr I would hope to think that she could but it also depends on how good the first single is gonna be
October 29, 200618 yr yes i think micheal can make a comeback know problem. all he needs to do is work with some big names and get a really good songs and he will be fine. he might not be able to make stuff like man in the mirror or thriller but he could do really well.
October 30, 200618 yr He is still the king of pop. People like Robbie & Justin may be doing better than him at the moment, but nobody has been able to make the same cultural impact as he has, and for that alone he is the king, I mean he changed music. His new album I think really will depend on the material, some people can release anything, but MJ really has to prove himself with this, he should come back with something fresh

I can't wait to hear new material but if it is'nt anything groundbreaking then I don't want him to bother :(
November 3, 200618 yr Basically I think this album is make or break. This will prove if the public accept him
December 17, 200618 yr i heard he has a rap cd coming out next yr. RAP??????? Really ?? Just as long he makes the right moves I suppose ^_^
December 17, 200618 yr I still think he can comeback, but i agree, this is his Make Or Break Album. If its successfull, he will probably carry on making music ^_^ If not, he will just lead a normal life, and move into obscurity, me thinks -_-
