The site, guardian.co.uk/music, will soon feature a daily blog, regular podcast and a weekly email outlining the best in music for the week ahead. Intel will sponsor the site for six months to promote its latest Core 2 duo processor. Emily Bell, the Guardian News and Media director of digital content, said: "The scale of our sponsorship with Intel is a media first for us. Obviously we will retain editorial independence, but we will work with Intel to integrate their brand into the site on a number of different levels and at the same time offer added value to our users." The music site, edited by Paul MacInnes, is part of an expansion of Guardian Unlimited's arts coverage, including an arts and entertainment blog, a site dedicated to art and architecture and increased coverage of theatre, visual arts, film and books. · To contact the MediaGuardian newsdesk email editor@mediaguardian.co.uk or phone 020 7239 9857.
