“When he is assigned to protect the ambitious and powerful Home Secretary Julia Montague whose politics stand for everything he despises, Budd finds himself torn between his duty and his beliefs. Responsible for her safety, is he actually her biggest threat?”

Keeley Hawes plays Home Secretary Julia Montague. Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden also stars as David Budd, a war veteran and Specialist Protection Officer who is assigned as the politician’s bodyguard. Also starring are Line of Duty’s Gina McKee, Peaky Blinders’ Sophie Rundle, Cucumber’s Vincent Franklin, Stuart Bowman, Nina Toussaint-White and Pippa Haywood.

The six part series is written by Line of Duty creator Jed Mercurio and airs on BBC One later this year!

Yeah it does!

Nothing touches Line of Duty as far as I’m concerned!

Loved this! Very tense thriller!

Episode 2 tomorrow, then continues Sundays after.

Really enjoyed this, The first 20 minutes were so tense. Episode 2 tonight then continues Sundays at 9.
This was so good! The best drama that's been on the BBC all year I think and I'm so glad we only have to wait until tonight for episode 2!

REALLY good, the first 20 minutes is surely one of the greatest openers ever! Rani from Sarah Jane Adventures ended up a bit AWOL then.

I’m sure they’ll be lost of twists coming up!

The first 20 minutes of this was rather tense, I was glued to the episode, it did waver a bit towards the end. I'm all behind it to see where it goes, looking forward to episode 2.
Fantastic start of what looks like a fantastic series! the first 20 minutes was edge on the seat television.
That was a brilliant 2nd episode.
So good! This show is full on, tense and keeps you guessing!
Just seen episode 2, wow, the series has got even better, just grows on you as the stories are unravelled. Again very tense, I thought the scene with the van was so out of the blue, and than towards the end with the car shooting, and getting it together at the end to be honest I saw that coming with the adjoining rooms

I agree, overall it was a better episode somehow! The van and the car shooting was once again edge of the seat stuff!

Only problem is that I really rolled my eyes at them getting together, just felt out of place, particularly on his part.
