She released an EP only last month... strikes me as a bit overkill and desperate on the record label's part.
Tbf they didn't actually push any of the new EP songs, although you think they'd have tried Crew AT LEAST, that sounds like such a smash :/
I think the clue in the EP was in the title 'Side Tape'. I've heard Friends live... It's a full on banger... and probably why Crew not getting released...

Omg hype

But even Cigarette wasn't really 'pushed' - I think Friends will get a full push though... It's a no-brainer radio tune....

Cigarette got just as much of a push as Decline, no? It just didn't take off.

I didn't mind Decline, in fact I quite liked it, but I almost abandoned her at Cigarette, so we will see how this ones goes. Why is everyone on about their friends recently, eh?
Cigarette was a disappointment considering both Mabel and Stefflon Don featured.
Decline had more radio play, as well as #1 on Hot Hits UK.

Yeah Decline was pushed from the outset by mainstream radio. Cigarette was pushed to specialist radio and playlists. I would say Friends is the 'mainstream' follow-up to Decline and it feels way bigger... I predict this will be her biggest hit to date as a main artist (i.e. not a feature)

Decline was pushed like crazy on spotify, even #1 on Hot hits, the payola was huge

Cigarette was on HH but pretty low, never in the upper part

Talk about over exaggerating

Talk about over exaggerating

you seem to enjoy ridiculing people...(it's a form of bullying actually) people are just talking and expressing some emotion...music does that! or are you the hype police?

Radio 1 playlisted Cigarette, Capital opted to snub it, that's basically all it boils down to.
